meant the actual display but yeah point for samsung on the anti glare coating, but the samsung made oled in the iphone is actually newer (better?) than that in the 24 ultra
The reason I moved from my 14PM to the s24U was because I got bored of iOS. Its was like looking at the same phone year over year. I agree that some apps may seem more polished on the iPhone. But I feel the Samsung will keep you interested for longer. The S24U is a powerful device too, more than what most people need.
I moved from the s22 ultra back to an iPhone last year (after 8 years on android) because it got boring too 😂 I was even part of the Samsung upgrade program so had like 3 of their flagships in a row. It was like getting the same phone every year 😅
Same not even a different face like you can't even identify the pro max versions and its just cloning. What I dislike the most is that the island notch camera unlike android who gives you what real display is and Samsung is one of the brand who has the smallest drop notch camera for selfie. Iphone is very boring and not even innovative very plain just literally the same. Just added a camera control on the side like is that a joke literally on 2024? You just did that? Ahahhaha whatta shame
I switched from S23U (after 7 years of Samsung only) to 14PM, mainly because of terrible camera experience on Samsung. Zero regrets, should have done it earlier. I don't need "power" or phone features to make me interested if basic things are not working well.
@@Rinnara21 But that's on you, since it's very easy to completely change how your Galaxy menus, icons and even spacing, scaling looks. Android objectively has far more customization options when it comes to how the UI looks.
@@rockcandidate No. I've had iPhones and iPads going back to the first OG models and Apple has only recently been touting their longevity between models and upgrade paths. They lost several lawsuits over slowing their devices down under the lie of 'battery savings'. Meanwhile, I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for over four years and it only just started feeling sluggish right before I finally sold it (and got a decent amount). Battery and screen still worked fine. The whole 'Apple devices work forever' and less prone to failure or obsolescence is Apple BS spread by shills.
@christianmendoza3655 I've got the 16Pro as well and can only tolerate it for a couple days at best. Just moved my sim to my Pixel 9Pro, and that's not fun cause I have to call my provider to get this done. The next rich app developer will be the person that developes an app that can do this.
Don’t upgrade my phone much. Went from a iPhone 3gs to a 7+ to a 12 pro max and decided to buy an S24 Ultra. Black Friday deal was solid and honestly wanted to try something new. Got the 512gb titanium blue on the Samsung website for $910! If I could’ve found a 512gb 16 pro max for that price I probably would’ve stayed with apple since I had the whole ecosystem 😂
I will have to go with the Galaxy. While the S-Pen is a niche feature, it really comes in handy when you need to sign documents and write down notes. Also, One UI is packed with features such as multitasking, DeX, Good Lock, etc.
@@Marz333 Can you draw with a keyboard? Making quick sketches and circles, arrows is easier with a pen or stylus. Scribbling out some outline notes is going to be much easier with a pen type instrument because you can quickly place your notations anywhere in any shape or size (drawing a box, sketching a quick diagram, etc.). Maybe you personally don't need a device you can scribble notes and outlines on, but lots of people want that and Apple doesn't provide Pencil compatibility with the iPhone. ALSO, the S-Pen has many other uses, such as camera and other remote control.

My biggest problem with Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra after using it for 2 weeks is that the keyboard is not as easy as iPhones keyboard to type messages you have to download third party keyboards like gboard to make it easy to type messages especially with voice to text feature as Samsung voice to text feature adds wrong punctuations and capitalizes words in between for no reason. Also Samsung biometrics such as fingerprint touch and face ID doesn't work every time and it is frustrating especially coming from iPhone for last 9 years because iPhone face ID works with masks hats and even with shades and never had a problem with fingerprint when that was available. If you could survive prison because you love being told what, when, and how you can do things and do not have to think for yourself, get an iPhone. If you would go stir crazy in the first day of prison due to the loss of freedom to choose everything you do, when you do it, how it looks, sounds, and functions when you do it, get an Android.
