Your attention to detail when it comes to the hockey masks are spot on! For this Jason it just looks to me like his utility belt is just a lil too high up on the body
Do these figures need a display stand? Or do they stand good on their own. I’m not sure how durable they are if they fall over on my dresser. They wouldn’t hit the floor or anything just fall over on the dresser
Actually, you can see into his eye holes in part 6. They first used the screening material on The New Blood, and only used it for that movie and Jason Takes Manhattan.
If I remember right you only see his eye holes for that opening part when they zoom in and do the James Bond opening and for the eye opening at the end, inbetween that pretty sure you can't see his eyes like when he looks at the paint ballers before the triple decap you can't see his eyes or when he looks at the arm attached to the machete when he gets it, and you get clear shots of his face in both scenes.

Hmmm that was actually a really tough one, whereas some of the other horror franchise sequels you can very easily pick out ok this was the worst this one was the best, the Fridays and Nightmares they're very grey as to what makes them bad or good for me, for the Fridays I can easily say Jason X is the worst one in my opinion, with Friday part 8 being the worst of the sequels to use Friday in the title. I can understand why you wouldn't dig this design, but from the perspective of the film, which was meant to be a parody of the series, the garden gloves and utility belt are purely comical. The utility belt is poking fun at the use of multiple weapons in slasher films and the hilarious abundance of different killing methods that had audiences flocking to theaters to see such films. The gloves I can't really defend, but I think they are meant to be absurd for the sake of absurdity. The face sculpt, I agree, is pretty bad. If Neca were to be authentic to the film, there wouldn't be much of a face at all; just decay and maggots (which I think would've been much cooler). I do, however, dig the figure for the most part. It's also mentioned in the game's "Pamela Tapes" as I understand they're called (I haven't played the game and won't buy it unless the single player justifies it, as not only was the multiplayer mode being totally different from the movies and in complete contradiction to the way they work apparent, as well as it being basically a party game sort of thing, but the latter point combined with the attitudes and dispositions of so many of the younger "people" nowadays made it clear to me that there would be a lot of besmirching of the character and the concepts, and, as usual, my deduction was quickly proven correct) that Pamela killed Elias long before the events of Jason Lives on orders, she believed, from Jason.
...and another contradiction between the game and the movie franchise is that they, while claiming to be such massive fans, put a set of steps in front of the front door of Higgins Haven. What makes this a particularly glaring issue that indicates strongly that they're lying about what fans they are is that in Part 3, Jason crashes through the hand rail right where they subsequently installed that set of steps at Veluzat Ranch, so obviously they used images of the place taken after Friday The 13th Part 3 was shot there, with no qualms about doing so.
I think you spend more time to nitpick details than you do just to enjoy the property to be honest, the game is fun and I had a good time playing it, I wasn't too caught up on finding mistakes in it versus how it looked in the movie, after all Jason's build is pretty similar with all the costumes so either sack jason or part 3 Jason he's got pretty much the same body mold.

I messaged them and they said they can't do Pamela because they don't have her likeness anymore and said that the mego Roy did poorly for some reason so they are hesitant to release an actual figure of him because the demand might not be there. I hope in the future we can get both of them along with all the other Jason's. on their Twitter they did release a very early picture of the camp sign. so that's something to be excited for!
I think the mego Roy sold poorly because it was a mego figure. I would have bought an actual action figure of Roy in a heartbeat, but when I saw the mego figure in stores I passed because it didn't fit with the other Jasons I had. Ended up getting it years later for a discount from a store more known for sports figures, and only because I figured the weren't doing a normal action figure.
