    Did all the SRT keeps in 2014 have the Uconnect access?

    the sxm radio system on this will go to channels 400 and beyond. most other built in sxm radios will not.

    I've made a video about mine. The response time is HORRIBLE compared to my Chrysler's. Not sure why cause I thought the firmware and hardware was the same?
    The SRT app response time is worse.

    If it has fixed touch screen buttons at the bottom of the screen, why not just make those hard buttons?

    Alex, all your reviews are great! Which infotainment system is the most responsive that you have reviewed? I have a 2013 Ford Flex and the touch is not nearly as responsive as I had expected and nothing like my iPhone. Are there systems closer to smartphone level touch response? A fast tap rather than a full finger push?

      UConnect is more like that than the others.

    Can someone tell me if it is possible to increase the volume of the voice for the voice response. I sometimes find it difficult to hear its responses whilst I am driving and perhaps have my music a bit loud

      Same on my BMW until one day I turned up the volume on my radio as the voice was saying something and BAM, voice was turned up.

      Lyn Baillie if you have navigation go into the settings on that and turn it up. If that doesn't work then go into the control settings and see if it's in the voice section

    Does anyone know whether / how Android is supported, particularly for music playback?

    • @AAutoBuyersGuide
      @AAutoBuyersGuide  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is treated just like a USB storage volume.

    Overall I like my 2014 Jeep Cherokee but the GPS is a joke. My iPhone has a better GPS (and free) than the one provided with my new vehicle. The GPS maps are very outdated and have many errors. The 800 number I called to get an update (NavTeq or NavTech, which is now apparently called Here) was also very disappointing. Two months after I picked up our vehicle I called the 800 number and was told an update would be available in the summer. Now, November 11, 2014, I called again. Now I am told the update would be available by the end of the year but no specific date given. Unbelievable! And the upgrade is not free - $149 plus tax. Really?! I can buy a GPS with lifetime map updates for less than that. Come on Jeep, you can do a whole lot better. Perhaps you need to partner with a different map provider.
