I am Indian, but western sweets are any-day better than Indian sweets. Are you saying Indian sweets are better than chocolates, icecreams, donuts and cakes? Hell NO! There is a reason western desserts are popular all over the world and Indian deserts are only limited to India.

FYI the staple flavours in Indian desserts are rose and pistachio. It’s like an equivalent to vanilla in India. You find rose and pistachio flavoured milkshakes and ice creams etc.

@@vishalranganatha1293 Yes, due to the nuts present in them. Almonds, walnut, cashews, pistachhio etc you can add more of the nuts that are protein rich plus most of the sweets are made from milk. So yeah, Protein seriously.
@@TheAnkitDalal yes but compared to other nuts cashews and almonds have high fat content, and they add like a ton of sugar to those sweets, it's like saying ice cream is good for you because it has protien and carbs ofcourse all food have them to some extent. My point here is that it's not healthy for daily consumption and it's definitely not a high source of protein like the other guy said

Oooh it's my hometown and I love sweet so much they missed one sweet that was mawa kachori(it's a Doug filled with mawa and deep fried in oil or butter and afterward you have to pour clear suger syrup into it and eat it)it's purely heaven when you eat it.Now I wanted to eat it desperately. 😊

See I wouldn't blame, if you do not like sweets, but believe me all these sweets shown here are best in taste and you cannot imagine how amazing those taste and melt in your mouth. And, these were only a portion of what India has to offer, every state has different sweet dishes and those all are amazing...... You cannot make faces by just seeing and not tasting those dishes.....

Desserts are big part of our diet. We distribute sweets as a mark of celebration for getting successful in something, in weddings, in festivals.Infact, eating sweet curd before interviews and exams brings good luck. For the starters, I recommend "Ras malai".
In my hometown I have shops who sells sweets ranging from 480₹/kg (6.5$/kg) to 2800₹/kg(400$/kg). India is a place of quality n variety of sweets.

The liquid type thing is not curd. it completely thick milk and you would love it if you try. One suggestion try Punjabi food.
Have you tried the street food on chowpati in Mumbai that is in Bombay in Maharashtra.Then do see it and if you get chance to visit India ,do visit Indore which is the best hub for foodies at night , cause there people go out to enjoy street food at night and all food items which you showed in this video you will get all there at night also with best Chaat ,Pani Puri ,shev Puri ,dahi vada and many more

If you put vanilla ice cream in rabri (the drink in beginning of the video) it's awesome 😍😍... BTW yogurt and rabri have totally different taste... Rabri is just like melted ice cream and better if served warm🤤🤤🤤

Well that was one part of india, basically every part of india you will find some special dishes, special sweets, special deserts..special snacks.... i guess you can almost eat a new dish every week without repeating for whole year [the kings used to eat "chhappan bhog' which literally is 56 types of food served in one meal ]
