I am LOVING the Cinématographe line from Vinegar Syndrome

- Vinegar Syndrome isn’t always my cup of tea, but when they offer stuff that’s in my wheelhouse they always knock it out of the park. Loving what they’re doing at the moment with the Cinématographe line and hope they keep it up.

I’m with ya Tim. This is the best I’ve ever seen Vinegar Syndrome because of all the variety and the new Cinématographe line. They’re killing it this year!
Watch me be jinxing myself and the next few months will be nothing I’m interested in 😂. But yeah strong strong start to 2024.
Yeah, VS has been knocking it out of the park with Cinématographe. When I first started getting into their releases a little over a year ago, I was just pleased that a company was showing love to movies that my friends and I would rent when I was in middle school all the way to with my college roommates.
Early on, I wondered what it would be like if they got their hands on some really interesting movies that could be a little more widely appreciated. I think we're finally seeing that come to fruition.
Goin' South is a lot of fun. It was great seeing actors like Mary Steenbergen, Danny Davito, and Christopher Lloyd in a movie like this so early in their careers.
Can’t wait for Goin South to come in. Unfortunately it’ll be a bit since I ordered with Dangerous Game which ships late May. Also ordered a shirt with the Cinematographe logo since I’m loving these releases so much.

Can’t wait to get it in. I probably shouldn’t have lumped it in the preorder with Dangerous Game though since I’ll be waiting until end of May for it.

I would agree with you, Tim, that ‘Little Darlings’ is probably the best release of the year. I’m especially excited that a title that never even got a DVD release has been given a 4K/BR release with great special features. I live in hope that one of my favourite 80s films that never got a DVD release will finally get a hidef release: ‘Light of Day,’ a Paul Schrader written and directed drama/musical with Michael J. Fox, Joan Jett, Gena Rowlands, Michael McKean and Jason Miller. Fox and Jett play a brother/sister act who play the bar circuit, hoping for a big break. McKean plays one of their band members and Rowlands and Miller play their religious parents who don’t really approve.
Light of Day is great. I have a VHS and a poster for it. Would absolutely love if VS or someone finally gave that a good release.
On Vinegar Syndrome Labs: Welcome Vinegar Syndrome Labs (VSL) to the VS Sub-Label family! As with each of our sub-labels we are hoping to expand and defy expectations with the diversity of films we restore and release. As the name implies, VSL will serve as a kind of testing area for releasing genres and eras of film that one might not immediately expect to come from VS. The ultimate objective of VSL will be to see if these types of films will find an audience, and if so, pursue and release more of them…and even if not, still serve as a means of restoring more of the weird, rare, and unusual movies you might not expect from Vinegar Syndrome.
Ok so it’s more that my expectations were off. I got excited seeing stuff like Flesh and Fantasy and Cat Creeps early on that I was hoping for more of that. Oh well more may come in the future.
I do have tv series and seasons in black and white sitcoms as well

The thing is that Vinegar Syndrome caters more to horror fans than fans of other genres. Their movies might not be any big deal to you but it means a lot to horror fans. Anyway neat haul good showing and cool video Tim!👉🙂👈
Oh I totally get that. I wasn’t knocking what they release. Just saying most of it’s not my cup of tea. They’re one of the most loved labels for a reason.

Show girls is 100 bucks at half price books I checked
The movie is still available on VS site for $35. The outer box isn’t worth the up charge of $65 imo.
