We still have not been to the Georgia Aquarium and we are only about 40 miles north of it. We have been to the World of Coca-Cola, but it has been many, many years. Next time, we will have to meet up at the aquarium. The Steel Collectibles and 2nd In Charles are the stores I go to. They are both about 7 miles from where I work.

Welcome back. When I saw that the vid was uploaded, I clicked on it and thought, “37 minutes, not bad” and when you said it’s a really long one I then looked again and I was like, “dang.” Lol. I’ll definitely watch it all.

Good to see you back Tim 👍I can imagine if this movie was a big part of people's childhoods that this set is a "Holy Grail item" for them and although I still think it is a bit on the pricey side I can see why people would buy it for sure ! I only recently saw the movie (English version) for the first time (on a Blu-ray rental) and didn't gel with it myself but I wouldn't mind giving the 4K German extended version a go at some point as I've heard the soundtrack is completely different (no Limahl song), the whole movie has a "darker" tone and it's actually more in keeping with what the (German) director orginally intended. Have you watched both versions yet ? Which was your favourite ?

I would like to read the book 📚. Would of been real cool if that was the actual book. 😊

You do get a lot for the price - the large, Book replica case, with the felt lining, all those large, glossy art and lobby cards and metal and plastic embellishments would be pretty expensive to produce. Even the custom-made plastic protector wouldn't be cheap either. it would have cost ViaVision a lot to produce this, so I get that they would want to make sure people buy this set if they want the 4k discs... However, even though Imprint stated they have no plans for a standard release, I wouldn't be surprised to see one come out next year some time. But it IS a lot of money and very understandable that most people wouldn't want to spend that much

Good grief that thing is enormous!! Gotta say though, I like your Evil Dead book more but that's because I'm more of a fan of Evil Dead as you know. But fantastic collectible. The full size movie poster is great. And you know I love me some lobby cards.

Great set and thanks for showing it off Tim! Mine is going to stay sealed for a while, but I do like that it was encased in a sort of protector.
