- Third time is a charm paid true on this trip. This was my third attempt for a sturgeon this year and Erik and I each landed one. The bite was supper hot and we landed fish all day long. We kept two striped bass for Erik The sturgeon were 37 and maybe 40". We also caught a couple leopard sharks and a starry flounder. It was a calm beautiful day.

2 thumbs up for the tow in. Excellent karma brother!
Thanks man! Someone on the docks saw and told me I would hook into a sturgeon first 15mins for my good deed. It took about 20-25mins :) I appreciate you checking out my video. Thanks -ChrisP
Agreed!
Awesome video man
I appreciate the nice words. Thanks
Your video stimulated me!! It is a fishing channel in Korea. I will visit you often! Let's be friends!🐟🐳🐠❤️❤️
Nice work!!!
I appreciate it, thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks for showing me how amazing the rod balancers are. That’s a must have.
yeah they are! Otherwise you have to hold it. Regular rod holder, your line will either be dragging on bottom or slack and you could miss the bite. Thanks for watching my video and making a comment!
Hey man love your videos. From all the types of fish you be catching pretty cool I’m still learning . That sturgeon you car in this video was that by the pump house?
hey thanks for checking out my videos! Happy you are enjoying them. Yeah this is near the pump house, in between that and china camp. New sturgeon video tomorrow morning 4/30. If you havent already please subscribe, thanks
Great vids!!! How big is your boat?
Successful trip! Yay!
Thanks for checking out the video James. Yeah it was perfect. Great weather and the fish were active.
Good job bro I'm trying going this Saturday
Thanks man. Good luck if you do go! Thanks for all the support!
Where you lunch boat
@@familyfishkiller1062 Thats loch Lomond in San Rafael. $20 but nice launch with hardly anyone ever using it. Several long water hoses with good pressure, fresh water rinse is included in launch fee. I was fishing 1 or 2 miles out from china camp.
I never a fishing right there I don't know where is there and you give me some location where is the not bed spot for sturgeon
Nice always wanted to catch a sturgeon hopefully this year
thanks for checking out the video! You get your sturgeon yet?
Went for the first time this last Saturday, man coming through that fog from Alameda had me shook, no luck but we'll be back, maybe we'll see you out there!
Yeah I was out last Saturday too. I got a video from that day coming next. Fishing was slower for sure. I appreciate you checking out my video and subscribing!
Hi
Love your videos!!!!! Keep them coming. Where do you launch? Is accessible during low minus tide?
Thanks
That launch is Loch Lomond in San Rafael. Its $20 which is a lot but that comes with some perks. Not many people use it, two boats at a time. Water for rinse is free and they have two long hoses on each side. Bait shop is right there. Andys market also right there for your snacks. Thanks for watching my videos!
I know this vid is old but I’m trying to catch a starry flounder there are no vids on them I’m trying to learn and find spots lol
its from feb in san pablo bay
is that a diawa lexa 400? or 300?
400
How is the boat launch/ parking there? I want to try it out. Thanks.
its all good. Its $20 but good fresh water wash and never busy, plus live bait shop. Thanks for checking out my video
Hey I was curious to what rod lb test you use.
I use 65 pound braid. Thanks for checking out the video and making a comment!
ChrisPfish what up bro!! Amazing video as usual but I do have a question. And I promise I won't tell anyone 😏. I know there are size requirements when it comes to keeping catch. My question is HAVE YOU EVER KEPT A FISH THAT WASN'T A LEGAL SIZE? Like, FUCK THIS, I BEEN OUT HERE FOR ALL THESE HOURS, I'M GOING HOME WITH SOMETHING 🤣🤣
No I have not done that. One time I did measure a Halibut wrong and when I got home it was 21.5" . I like to catch and release. Salmon, Lingcod, Halibut & Dungness are basically only thing I bring home. Thanks for checking out my video and making a comment!
Do you know which motor that trophy had? I think I bought it lol
Good fishin. Just a quick suggestion, don’t net fish unless you are 100% sure you’re going to keep it. Its easy to damage the fish, split tails and fins. That can get them sick and lead to death. Same with Halibut, Salmon, etc. Especially with the type of net you are using.
I used to net them too.
Thanks for the comment. Check out my latest video when I talk about that and show in detail with halibut. I guess with sturgeon I dont have a lot of experience, good suggestion! Thanks for checking out the video!
