Did this to our 2006. Had no voltage to the ac compressor no the low side pressure switch. Now it’s working and blowing ice cold. Thanks man. I never would have thought of a relearn

How does this procedure differ for a manually controlled single climate control system. I replaced the blend door actuator and need to re-calibrate. By the way...you do a great job with your videos!

got a question for you man... my car has been stuck on anti theft for some time now .... when i go to start it nothing happens no cranking nothing of it trying to start, the display screen an the dash cluster lights come on but nothing with trying to crank over... so i figured out (i think) the BCM was fried. so i got another one an now dont no how to relearn it .. to my vehicle, can u give any advice?????? also before had i got a new battery for it as well...

The anti theft is activated cause the car believes the wrong key has been used for the Passlock system. There is a video of a fix (bypass) done on a grand am using a 2200ohm resistor on the BCM. Highly recommend, used it on a 04 GA and my 05 Grand prix.
Search bypass Passlock and should see it. *** be sure it's the one using a resistor on the BCM not the ignition***

If you recently replaced the battery them the memory of the actuator was lost changing the battery so its a matter of reprogram or just getting a new actuator

@@B-S1999 what worked for me is disconnecting the two terminals from the battery then changning my ac knobs to the beginning to where if i turned on the car the ac would be off and let the battery sit disconnected for two minutes and then turn after the two minutes conncect the battery and then turn on the car but dont crank then adjust the ac to your liking and it should work

I'm trying to disable the automatic daytime running lights on my 04 Grand Prix GT. The lights come on every time i start the car. Does your cars lights come on every time you star it like mine? Any help would be appreciated. I usually forget to turn them back off and don't realize it until i park in front of something reflective.

john doe the Body Control Module is responsible for the lights coming on. Unless you rig a physical switch there is no way to prevent them from coming on. Other than the obvious of turning them off after you start.

Your daytime running lights will go off automatically after you shut the car off! There is no switch to turn them off they are automatic quit worrying if you turned them off. Even if you leave the headlights on there is a protection feature built in where the ECM will turn off all lights in order to protect the battery!

@@bradcliff7099 You misunderstand, i'm only concerned with stopping my daytime running lights from coming on automatically every time i start the car to drive. They turn off fine when its parked and not in use. I don't like how they come on automatically in all lighting conditions no matter what. Every morning i have to manually turn the lights back off after starting the car. Leaving them on in the daytime is a nice luxury for some but it is a waste of wear on the bulbs, alternator and engine. It also effects overall miles per gallon in the long term slightly, which also saves money.

@@johndoe-yt7hs I got ya! Yeah I have a 2004 GTP and I don't like how my headlights come on backing out of the garage and then stay on in the light. If I turn them off manually it kills my daytime lights which mine are the amber ones with the fog lights, and I like those to be lit. Even when your daytimes are part of your headlights a vehicle can be seen better with white or amber lights lit up in the front even in the daytime sun! Same way it works for motorcycles, especially how some cars seem to blend in with backgrounds or even pavement colors. The worst is a Silver, Gray, or Black vehicle in the rain with no lights on coming up beside a semi on either side,Trust me I'm a 28 year seasoned veteran driver. Actually your headlight bulbs are gonna last the same length of time any ways but they do tend to break the filament in them after they cool from being on, the expand and contract thing from hot and cold! Sorry I got a little windy!

+Shawn Young Sadly no. Not without a major modification to the dash and even then the BCM would not see the new unit.
