Have to tell you it was a lot easier removing the 2 screws with a 6 pointed screw driver...(not sure if that's what you call that tool🤷) anyway it was easier and screw came out completely... Thank You I accomplished what I needed to do.
I'm struggling eith that myself.. only have access to 3/8" 10mm sockets that are too wide to go in those holes all the way. gonna have to find a 1/4" 10mm now. the illusive damn 10mm.... 😆
@@HAMMER_2.2 You got the solution and buying a couple of 1/4" and 5 extra 3/8" 10mm sockets will last you 3 or 4 months if you do much mechanic work.Are those things hiding out with the socks lost in the dryer?
When you decide the handle screws aren't 10mm it must be a 1/4 " drive socket to fit inside the hole or maybe a deep well 3/8 drive would fit.And thanks for showing that main connector with the weird latch because I might still be poking and pulling had I not known.Altogether a great video very helpful.
@@jonathannebelsick7376 all you can really do is jam it in as hard as you can until it pushes threw the plastic if your socket gets stuck just stick the exstension back in and wiggle it until it comes loose I was worried my socket would get stuck but it will come out if you mess with it a bit

The door fasteners on my gxp all pop out when we close the door. Great video, hope I can easily fix the issue when I get it apart.
Probably fixed long ago but Advanced Auto and probably Autozone has a rack of weird parts like the plastic fasteners for stuff you can't find

There is also an indentation almost directly underneath the speaker grill where you can stick a screwdriver to more easily pry the door clips up.

My 10 mm would get stuck inside the hole and it wouldn’t reach cause it was getting stopped by something

I cant get one of my screws out, ugh everything was so easy till I got to this one stubborn screw now I'm stuck...
Use 6 pointed screw driver.... Looks almost like an Allen wrench... I couldn't remove using 10 MM

Start at the bottom. If any marring occurs, it won't be noticable (or invest $8 Ina plastic tool kit)

They dont even make the plastic surrounding the bolt big enough to fit the 10 mm in smh a 10 min job turned into a hour
