      Thank you Kaito! I've been training hard this summer, getting those gains.....in my room sitting at the desk, learning how to edit and mix xD.

    What a great excerpt to showcase CSW! If I wasn’t sold on this library, I am now. Great work!

    This could be a demo for CSW! Really nice use of the library. Lovely runs!

    • @SamuelStalderOST
      @SamuelStalderOST  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you David :)). Yeah it's such an intuitive library, it makes runs like those really easy. Increase the velocity to 127 to activate the fast legato transition, start it a 32nd note just before and repeat for each consecutive note (I'm sure you know that quite well :)) ) . It then sounds like a seamless run haha. The same can be applied for mordents, works just as fine.

      Thank you Pearly! And yeah, love when the harmonica and flute just jumps in, such a comical and lovely transposition to the events happening prior.

      I was trying to mimic what ratatouille (the food) would like if it were sound.
      All jokes aside, thank you Payton. :))

    Very good job. Haven't heard this piece in forever! This movie is so funny and good. Your mixing is also top notch, as usual. No clutter at all!
    And congrats on 300 subs! Here's to many more!

    Beautiful work, Sam! That video editing is top notch!
    And those double-tongues and runs, amazing!
    I'm quite new to using CSS, may I ask how you eq'd it/mic settings for a brighter sound? ( ex. 0:24 and 1:40! ) The swells sound amazing!

    • @SamuelStalderOST
      @SamuelStalderOST  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Anthony! Apologies for the late reply. Thank you so much! I must say CSW is perhaps the best library for custom runs out there 😄.
      About the strings. I mainly boost the top end quite a bit. I tend to find CSS requires that. However, when doing that I also add a negative curve around the mids so that when the modulation is raised it doesn't sound too clouded and muddy :). I hope you're enjoying CSS :))
