Thank you so much Christian! For the controls within logic, I'm using modulation, expression and volume automation. I don't have a midi fader controller (as yet, saving up for one :)). I use an NI A61 midi keyboard. Basically, it's all done within logic manually. Hope this helps and thanks again Christian!
This was incredible! Would it be possible to purchase the logic pro x file off you for personal use, I'm curious to see how you arranged the piece. Should I email you or something? Cheers!
Thanks Prismen! No need to purchase anything :). My email's in the 'about' section of my channel (I think it only shows up on computers). Just drop me a line and I'll be more than willing to share it.
Sounds super realistic, did you put any processing on cinematic studio strings? I'm looking to buy a string library and the strings in this song sounds sooo goood
Hi KOWAY! Thanks! Yes I do have processing done on the strings. I would say the realistic sound is 80% the library and 20% processing (EQ, Reverb). In my opinion, I am yet to find a string library that beats this one. The playability and programming is unparalleled. Yes, out of the box it does sound a little muddy, but that can easily be fixed with 10 mins of EQ mapping. If you'd like more ethos - John Powell (the composer for How to train your dragon) uses this library and recommends it. If you've ever heard some of his music, you'll understand why haha.
Damn, that must have been a ton of work!
Yeah, you could say that haha. But I'm glad I did it. Taught me a lot about Hisaishi's style of writing.

Thank you Rodrigo! And thanks for subscribing :)).
The orchestration is so beautiful omg. too bad youtube compression made the high volume section low in sound quality. :((
Thank you Christian!! Yeah, I exported the audio in Logic and Final Cut at 48kHz and 24 bit. Still doesn't sound as good on YT.
This is so beautiful! What midi fader controller are you using? Love your orchestral covers!
