Toyota is crazy priced for what they have to offer. Kia is not as fun to drive. Can’t afford euro (similar performance models). I dig the ionic 5 look (can only dream of the real N for the price but that would be the car if money was not a worry) & when I asked for a better price what they offered up for an Epiq AWD Nline was a big difference to their list price so seriously considering especially with some of the EV incentives that you can work into the deal ...
I’ll keep it on the down low for now, but I wanted to get it under the luxury car tax, which ended up happening & then some, I was also able to unlock a discount through APOD.
@ yes, ok they have a lithium main battery, but I heard they also need a lead acid for some other reason- keeping peripherals working or something. If the lead acid poos itself then the car doesn’t even open never mind start.
Since President Felon just eliminated all the incentives, the 2025 Ioniq 5 is now more expensive. I consider it a kick-in-the-teeth to Hyundai after the automaker invested so much time, energy, and beaucoup bucks in the new Georgia factory so that its EVs will be "Made in America" -a condition for those incentives.
It’s a great vehicle for your butler to drive you to your van on the estate. Seriously though why can’t vans have nice interiors like that (up front). Poor commercial van operators always get the “rugged” interior.
