you tried buckwheat shell pillow? i have been using that for the past 10 years, since i started using that, my tension headaches reduced from 4 times per week to 5 times per year.
@@lycaondoug hi - I did all four together, really concentrating on feeling the stetch, slowly getting into the stretch and pulling it so that I couldnt extend that muscle any further. Thank you for sharing these exercises. I have never experienced a tension headache until a day ago and had no idea what was going on. Once I did the pillow case trick it was like all my tension released in an instant. Thanks so much!
I read the comments said that the pillow case is the best one that worked for lots of people. I was having a head splitting headache so I tried it. It really worked! Of course the headache is still around, but it helps reduced the pain. Thank you so much!

Hello. I have problems with tension headache for a year now and i have tried physical therapy and multiple pain medications and nothing has been working for me. I have seen this video this week and your streches have been working miracles for me, the headache is literally gone in minutes even tho it comes back during the day i feel much better and i have hope now that i will fix my headache. I just want to thank you from my heart for your video and god bless you.
I sorta discovered parts of this on my own. I thought the headaches I was getting were related to weather pressure changes and were related to sinus issues. Turns out it was this type of headache. I was just doing neck stretches, randomly to get some relief. I will try these more targeted exercises next time it happens.
Came across this video after suffering from debilitating headache for a week and just like that I felt immense relief. Thank you for saving me and countless others from pain and needless visits to the doctor.
My headache wasn’t too happy with your intro music but it made sure that yes indeed I was having a headache 😛 Feel better now after doing these. Thank you. You are forgiven for the heavy metal in the beginning.
Thank you, 26 days ago it started & prescriptions (B2 & Magnesium Oxide). Half day of stretching following this routine (which i found yesterday afternoon) and it's gone. Chin tuck was the biggest missing component. Much appreciated. 👍 Mine was caused by exercise and pretty sure not properly supporting my head/neck. edit: for future readers- it didn't stay gone, but the stretch does offer immediate relief.
@@eneat2521 Yeah it went away in January/February. I had mine for a month. Has never came back after it. But i think it was lack of sleep and water. Drink alot and sleep and do head excercises and it will go away brother. Good luck ❤️

I have been dealing with tension headaches for a few years, I'd say 4 years. I realize they are always brought on by stress whether emotional or mental. When they occur I have a tight feeling sensation, almost like my head is being squeezed and also I have a tight/tense feeling on my neck, at the back where head and neck connect. Does anyone else have this happen to them too?

I've done similar exercises like these to strengthen my neck muscles, and wound up WITH a headache afterwards. Also, I often wake up with headaches...do you have any advice on sleep positions or pillows to avoid this type of muscle-tension headache? Thank you for all your informative videos!
I often find that if people push these TOO HARD it can result in increased pain afterwards. My advice would be back off everything and keep all the stretches as comfortable as possible. Consistency over intensity every single time. As far as the sleeping thing - you bet I can help! Hey Jared. Been having bad tension headaches and jaw clenching every day, feeling like my head was in a vice. At first I thought the headaches were just from jaw clenching but after a bit of education (including this video) I found that both are likely caused by prolonged sitting, poor posture, stress, shallow breathing and muscle tightness in other parts of the body. Day two of doing these exercises and so far they seem to be working. In fact I felt the onset of a headache after sitting for four hours today and thwarted it with these stretches. Sincere gratitude! Few questions about the chin tuck. When doing them I feel an intense stretch from the tips of my shoulders down to my forearm, is that normal? Also feel the urge to slightly arch my back off the floor while tucking, that ok or try to keep back flat against the floor? Last question: the tucks somewhat obstruct breathing, hold breath or try to breathe through them?
Oh my gosh! Htf did you just fix me!!?? It was driving me insane. Thousand thankyous. Im now sunscribing to your channel in an attempt to fix my posture properly. Youre an angel!

Wow, what a kind comment! I appreciate your support so much!
Just want you to know I had chronic tension headaches for 2 straight months, I started doing these stretches 2 days ago and I feel 90% relief.
Thank you so much!
This is INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much. I had a constant tension headache for almost a week, it was debilitating. Everyone kept saying it was due to stress and although it may have partly been, no painkillers or relaxing was taking it away. All gone now and I'm going to be so much more aware of my posture from now on. Keep it up
You're so welcome!
is it gone forever?
It seems like magic. After doing this exercise my headache is gone in an instant. Thank you so much.
You're so welcome! That is such great news!
I’m feeling a lot of pain and tension at the back of my neck, this helps a lot!! Thank you so much men. Liked and subscribed to show my appreciation. 🙏👌🏽
You are very welcome! I am so glad this video helped you and thanks for your support!
Thank you for sharing these exercises. I have never experienced a tension headache until a day ago and had no idea what was going on. Once I did the pillow case trick it was like all my tension released in an instant. Thanks so much!
Oh, wonderful! I am so glad that stretch was helpful!
I read the comments said that the pillow case is the best one that worked for lots of people. I was having a head splitting headache so I tried it. It really worked! I swear I couldn't do anything but laying down when I had an extreme headache. But after the pillow case excercise I was able to move around and do some light chores. Of course the headache is still around, but it helps reduced the pain. Thank you so much!
You are welcome! I am glad that worked for you!
I suffer from almost daily tension headaches. I'm so glad I found this video. These exercises helped me tremendously.

Oh, you are so welcome! This is amazing news!
Thankyou so much for teaching this. These exercises healed my a full day boring headache in just 5 minutes.
You're so welcome! I am glad this video helped and thanks for commenting!
Ty you just don't know you saved my life. I was in so much pain I needed these methods so bad
I am so happy I could help!
I sorta discovered parts of this on my own. I thought the headaches I was getting were related to weather pressure changes and were related to sinus issues. Turns out it was this type of headache. I was just doing neck stretches, randomly to get some relief. I will try these more targeted exercises next time it happens.
You have saved me from so much pain 💗
I'm so glad to hear that, Linda! Thank you for sharing!
Came across this video after suffering from debilitating headache for a week and just like that I felt immense relief. Thank you for saving me and countless others from pain and needless visits to the doctor.
That’s amazing news! Thanks for sharing!
Mine was caused by exercise and pretty sure not properly supporting my head/neck.
edit: for future readers- it didn't stay gone, but the stretch does offer immediate relief.
Wonderful news, Carlos! I am so glad you are feeling better!
Is it gone now, i have had one for little over 2 weeks now
@@AsherneZis yours gone?
@@eneat2521 Yeah it went away in January/February. I had mine for a month. Has never came back after it. But i think it was lack of sleep and water. Drink alot and sleep and do head excercises and it will go away brother. Good luck ❤️
@@AsherneZ mine is probably lack of sleep as i sleep at like 3am everyday, I’ll definitely be getting more sleep and doing exercises. How often did you do the exercises? Had mine for 2 weeks straight and can’t deal with it anymore
You said five minutes but it takes only 1 minute to repair everything. Nice
1- Chin Tucks, 3-5 sec hold, 20-30 reps
2- Cervical Rotation Stretch, 20 Sec hold, repeat 3x each side
3- Upper Trapezius Stretch, 20 Sec hold, repeat 3x each side
4- Scapular Pinches, 3 sets of 10-20 reps
Thanks for helping others out!
This was super helpful. I watched the whole video, but it is still super helpful to have it listed here. Thank you. And thank you for the video!
Thank u dear
Thank you, Doctor. I hope you speak common words so that we can understand the translation and stay away from populist words. You are a gift from God.❤❤❤

I get headache every month 🥺I will be crying 😭 I am fed-up of this
I am sorry you are in so much pain! I hope this video helps!
I get a headache even more often 😓
I have been dealing with tension headaches for a few years, I'd say 4 years. I realize they are always brought on by stress whether emotional or mental. When they occur I have a tight feeling sensation, almost like my head is being squeezed and also I have a tight/tense feeling on my neck, at the back where head and neck connect. Does anyone else have this happen to them too?
Me bro same feeling from last 5 months
I’ve had it for one month. Caused derealization to. I think it was brought on by severe stress
@@hairynipps2599 how did you cure it and how did it go away. Pls lmk
@@Jasmine-of7sq the headaches just went away for me. Now I’m just dealing with derealization from time to time. It comes and goes. It’ll one day be gone completely. There are times when I feel normal. It’s been like 2 months and a half. Maybe the headaches are coming from ur neck. U should try inversion table therapy. It helped mine. Maybe medication to…. not that I’ve tried it but Maybe it could help u.
All these days I have ignored Yoga. With your strech and pinch muscle technics, I recalled my basic yoga training years ago. Thanks, your tips helped me in a great way.
You are welcome, Sane Voice! I am glad this video was helpful for you!
Thank you for this great video! I have a very serious situation in my family. From time to time the situation explodes and I find it very hard to cope. After a few bad days I got up with a stress headache and nausea. I found this video and tried the exercises even though I didn’t feel like it. By the time I finished I felt 90% better. I was able to eat breakfast and go about my day. Just did the exercises again. It’s like magic! Thank you for sharing!❤️

I was on a work trip in my hotel room last night. As i was facetiming my girlfriend i felt it moving up my neck info the base of my skull. For years i thought they were occipital lobe migraines. I got so desperate i looked up how to get rid if migraines and somehow this popped up. THANK YOU. Literally within 5 mins something thats plagued me for years just went away magically. It was so bad when i was younger i considered going to the hospital. Youve improved my quality of life tenfold.

I know this is from like 3 years ago, but this was so helpful! I usually suffer from tension headaches and migraines and this helped me sm!! :)
Tried these today, what a difference. Thank you for the info and your time to make and post this video.
Glad it helped!
Check these out and let me know if they help: th-cam.com/video/xZfIn_OHADI/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/-Qxmc4E7IwA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you!
I recommend getting a my pillow that might help you.
Thanks so much, i tried it and my headaches went away.
You're welcome, Giovanni! I am so glad these helped you and thanks for sharing!
