I had a 1963 Falcon in a light green metallic finish that my dad had bought me for my graduation from high school in 1966. It had 144 cubic inch straight 6 with a three speed manual transmission on the column. It was the bare bones basic model but I really liked that car. I enjoy watching your channel, been saved since May of 1980 by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ive got a 1962 Ford Falcon thats exactly the same a 144 Cubic Inch and straight 6,its a basic model but my great grandad drove it and the rest of my family did.
Its been sitting in my uncles garage since the 1980's when he died of cancer and stopped working on it,they passed it down to me so its up to me to get it working im 17 and a highschool student haha.
I do have the parts just havent had the time and I dont know a lot about cars I live with my 81 year old grandpa and 74 year old grandma so ive been just buying parts slowly over time to where I can fix the car up and drive it every now and then!

As a Ford guy, I would tell you to keep ‘em. They are all unique and have ton of character! Also as a Ford guy, I would love to have the Falcon. My grandfather had one just like it and it would be cool to restore it. If you sell, I would be interested.

I agree, sometimes they need to go to someone who can take them to the next level. Two neat Fords, I would think 3k for the Falcon and 4 to 5k for the Galaxy, but I would be looking for the right buyer not a flipper, of course that’s just my opinion.

    Love the little Falcon!
My late Uncle had one back in the 60's, was one of the first cars I drove on a highway.
Drove it pulling a small u-haul trailer on the expressway and interstate about 70 miles moving him from Chicago to Kankakee IL.
The morning we left he was too hung over to drive so he made me drive, I was only 14 years old at the time!

I have driven a lot of old fords in my life, but the first old ford I drove was my dad's old 63 fairlane with a 260 v-8 3 on the tree. I would love to find another one of those. The first old ford I owned was a 66 Galaxie xl500 fastback 2 door with a 352 automatic with bucket seats console and numerous interior lights. I wish I still had that one too. Other old fords I had was a 61 f100 unibody pickup, a 65 kgt mustang coupe 289 4 speed, a 70 mustang grande 302 auto, a 71 mach 1 429 auto, several pintos and a pinto wagon I put a 302 in and won a trophy at the local drag strip with. I drove a 72 LTD with a 460 I built for several years and It was very fast, I currently have a couple first gen mustangs, both coupes, and right now I am driving a 79 fairmont with a 5.0 5 speed. It is fun to drive. I do still miss the old 63 fairlane though.

It's doesn't make much sense to stack em up in the woods but they're your vehicles to do what you want with them. I fix or restore off road stuff on my channel and do sometimes have the same dilemma letting them go. I don't get a good feeling though knowing someone else will actually enjoy them and use them. The galaxie has to many doors for most people wanting to restore one. I had a 67 galaxie 500 2 door hardtop with a 390 plus power steering/brakes and ac. I put Cadillac springs in the back to lift the rear end up. I have a mechanic book that has everything about this and many other cars that goes into detail about every spec and repair. I got it when I was 14 and restored it and drove it to high school. Everyone loved it . I painted it midnight metallic blue. I loved that car but now after selling it the guy parked it in a field years later.he wasn’t to smart about keeping up a old car and gave up on it. I’d say &2500. for the galaxie and will be lucky with all those doors. Good luck 🙏🇺🇸

In your past life you must have been a used car salesman “ that car over there? I couldn’t possibly sell you that car over there. But if it was for sale, what would you offer for that little beauty?” LOL
Hope they find good homes. The ’67 is more my speed, although I had a ‘62 Meteor for a short time. Pretty similar to the Falcon, neat cars

Love the Galaxie. Our family had 3 different styles, and a 66 Custom. My 1st runner was a 63 Falcon.bone stock 6-cyl,and 3 on the tree,I bought from another family member.I can't afford even what you put in the 67,so I'd like to know about the Falcon. It's up my alley for repairing and will tote a trailer hitch rack with my bike.(This is 3 weeks late as I Didn't get notified, sorry)

That Falcon came standard with a massive 170 cubic inch straight six! With a good exhaust they purred like a kitten and you could barely hear them running.

My cousin had a 1963 Falcon that was bought in Edmonton (Canada) and it came with a water heater. It was a little 120V water pump with an electric coil built in and would circulate hot water all night! It always started. Instant defrost in the morning.
