This is GREAT content! I’m an upper-level IT professional and I follow this mindset when I interview candidates for an international consulting firm. I once interviewed two candidates in one day: a guy with a fancy MBA and a gal who waitressed for a colleague’s family at some restaurant on a random night. The colleague thought she had a spark and told her to submit her resume. Guess who I hired! Not the MBA. The waitress demonstrated her problem solving skills and empathic curiosity with real examples from her work experience, and she asked great questions. Take Jazzy’s words seriously: You have skills that you don’t realize you have!!! Good luck out there!

I worked for Walmart for 9 years as everything from part time cashier to one level below salaried Assistant Store Manager, and being the young thing that I am, that's all I know, but I did almost everything for that store, or knew how to. ❤️❤️❤️

It's better to auto insurance that's something ppl have to have and it's steady customers coming in. With auto insurance you can upsale the life insurance to them 🙂. I did both auto insurance and life insurance together. Good luck. You'll like insurance it's goid money and good knowledge to know for your own personal life and insurance situations.

Haha!! It’s all a learning experience! I used to have a habit of putting my life story on my resume until my manager told me to stop doing that 😄
As a current QA analyst lead, I can say that she is giving out great information! In this role, you may be working with process changes or "flows" that include SRs. That said it'll also be helpful to add any experience where you've offered feedback or helped implement a new system in any capacity. Write it all down!

@@JazzyMac I work in a smaller FinTech company, so I wear a couple of hats. I’m currently helping with a new training class, but while I’m 100% focusing on the QA side, I start with getting the team ready with the day with Neg CSATs and other related tickets the team has to grade. I also:
- resolve any disputed evaluations a customer service rep may have with an analyst in my team
- upload daily data to analyze
- definitely help flag any documentation that needs to be updated or completely changed
- help track bugs
- answer questions either a team has or any other colleague
- of course help track data regarding the stats of my team
- currently looking for new ways to help with team bonding (mostly all of us work remote)
- use to orchestrate training, but I’ve taken a backseat now lol I’m only helping for the time being 😅
My manager is the big data driven person more so than me, so I usually help brainstorm ideas with him. He creates the spreadsheets and I monitor them/keep them running.
For anybody interested in this field, great tools to get familiar with is of course excel. Other tools are Asana (help keep yourself organized), Looker (the data platform), and maybe Figma (what the design or product usually uses to visualize and actually create the path of a customers journey)!

I applied late and only the supervisor role is open, but I put in the cover left notes indicating I was interested in the other job ID’s discussed In this video, so hopefully, I hear back something regarding all 3 positions. I have reached out to the recruiters in the past regarding closed applications and some are open to still submitting applications after it’s been removed.

Hey! Excited for you! In all honesty, it may be hard to keep 2 wfh gigs. I would suggest being honest and having a clear plan for how you’ll manage both. It’s not something id recommend tho 😩

Thanks for the info! My issue with “pretty” resumes, I find there isn’t enough room to fit everything on one page. Do I prioritize a resume that’s one page over one that will creatively catch a hiring manager’s attention?

The resume screener needs to clearly understand what skills you have in 30 seconds and you don’t need to include jobs that aren’t relevant that you held for less than 6 months so it doesn’t look like you job hop. Concise bullets that are results oriented. Are there specific projects that are relevant you worked on? starting with a strong action verb followed by a quantitative metric that shows your impact. You’ll want to make sure you include the same relevant keywords that are in the job description. It’s not always a human being combing through resume submissions, it may be a computer program for resume screening that you have to make it through initially first so keep that in mind

I would like to add nix using “responsible for” on your resume
I’d also start bullet points with action verbs to show and not tell.
For some of these roles make sure you have your technical skills at the top not at the bottom.

I'm a supervisor with them working from home and they are cutting hrs and not paying that. They need to stop. I do all of that and none of me or my colleagues make near that! I'm extremely lazy. I'm NOT trying to be funny. But all my life I have been pretty lazy. I work hard as needed, ppl have told me that "I have a lot of energy" or I get the job done, etc., but I don't like it. My eyes even WATER with tears 😢 at the thought of work although I do it.
I want a good job that coincides with my lazy nature. It's hard for ppl to understand this, but it's my nature.

Question: it’s not letting me upload my resume and is saying the file is too large. How do I shrink the file? The resume was done in Microsoft word. It is also not letting me go to the next step to “fill out application “. Thank you!
If it’s not letting you manually fill it out then that is a job site issue.
Also ensure that you’ve removed any logos or Home Depot images from your resume.
