I work for CVS as a Behav health dep rep I went from making $28 at a mental health institution to making base for the CVS position so I went in with yrs of experience and partial schooling for nursing but started at step one with the company. That set aside the supervisors and team are amazing we always have each others backs and are there for eachother if someone needs help. And I can see clearly that my supervisors genuinely want to help me not only succeed in my position but to push me to work my way up the ladder in the company. The work and hrs are great, paid time off, paid holidays off, great health ins just pretty low pay compared to what I’m used to in health care- And really the ppl here are what made it manageable and worth it

I like how you post how actual people have gotten the jobs. Because a lot of these channels that have work from home content, ain't nothing but a whole bunch of clickbait. You watch their videos and follow their instructions, and when you apply for the job it's not available, or they're not even hiring, or they don't even know what you're talking about. A lot of these work from home channels are nothing more than clickbait. I want to thank you for the hard work that you do, because I know it takes hard work to do what you do.
I am suffering with finding a job. Im a single mom and have trouble with childcare and a lot of these jobs are not tryna hear “I gotta get out early or don’t have childcare” etc I got two job offers recently but couldn’t work the hours I feel working from home is the best thing for me.
You can do it. I’ve made several calls in this last week, to the bank, scheduling doctor appointments and you can hear children in the background. I know they are working from home. Last year, in my interview, I heard my interviewer’s son screaming in the background. It was hilarious and that boy had some lungs on him! One shift I think is happening, as it should, is jobs realizing that people can get business done on their behalf, if they’re treated compassionately. Just don’t mention the kids at all in these interviews. Keep the kids away as well during interview lol.

I got a job offer today for data entry position with cvs health. I was surprised because I originally applied for the CVS/Aetna position but was turned down but a few days ago received an email for virtual interview on zoom for data entry position.Asked a series of question in which I had to type my answers in the text box.A few minutes after we finished was offered the position and sent offer letter etc.
Still jo start date ..need to get them back other documentation like I9 and offer letter information. Trying to get that done we and still working present job. So I will have to put 2 weeks in was kind of skeptical at first because the interview process was weird

I just despise how a lot of these companies want you to have all this experience know all these specific systems (because different companies and industries use different systems and softwares) yet want a candidate coming through the door to know and have all the experience they are looking for and it’s not realistic. I am a full time nonprofit professional and I absolutely love what I do but I want a part time evening job for the next 1-2 years so I can reach some financial goals. When I applied for WFH jobs previously they were roles speaking directly with customers and they wanted you to have open availability even if it was just part time. Would a role such as these be more open to allowing employees to only work evening shifts or do you know of any companies offering evening WFH jobs? Thanks in advance.

Seriously, references rarely get called or asked for because anyone can lie. One can literally say anyone was their previous supervisor and put any contact info. Said supervisor may or may no longer work at place mentioned, therefore, you could put a personal email address n cell.
I have a question. Can you post a list Of non phone stay at home jobs that you can do without a specified shift? Meaning you get paid with how much you complete. Most of these stay at home jobs require you to be available during a specific time and it makes it hard if you are caring for children. Thanks

Applied for their workforce planning coordinator job about a month ago, got an interview but just got the notification that I didnt get the position. First thing when the recruiter called me she asked me how much i was looking for i told her the website stated between $17-27 she said that is a mistake they have bene having alot of issues with it and the position pays $17. I have a masters degree and what Im noticing with alot of remote customer service positions they dont wanna pay you. I did get a better position but im continuing to look

Try getting a second job. I moved out of MA a year ago and live in Tennessee. I work as a Medical Assistant making $26 per hour. Look into that, it's so worth it!
@@sammiyen I got mine from NHA. I registered to take the Medical Assistant exam. It's 180 questions. The thing is you need to go to a program IF you have no prior medical experience. If you do have at least a year or more experience then you can bypass the school process and just study for the test.

Hi; I’m a say at home mother that needs to get back to working. I used to do customer service for Waste Management and Apple but I no longer want to talk on the phones and I’m not able to talk on the phones anymore. My son has severe acid reflux. He’s only seven months he’s been throwing up since he was born, and it’s hard to be on the phone talking with someone when he needs my undivided attention. if I can find me a job that requires me to just type and fill in information and not have to worry about someone on the phone, then I know that I can easily do that while still taking care of my son. please help ❤
Love your videos! From one sista to another, try not to use your hands so much when talking. Let your mouth do the talking & not your hands. Remember many are watching & learning from you & u do not want them to develop that habit when interviewing or just talking in general. As an interviewer I want to focus on the person words coming out their mouth & not be so focus on their hand movements. Keep up the good work!!
That’s sounds like a personal bias you’ve developed that is now being projected onto others. My hand gestures never kept me from landing 6 figure corporate roles, as young as age 25. If someone is focused on my hand gestures, vs. screening for the best fit for “skill set, values and aptitude”, then that would make you a pretty shallow person. Your tendency to be easily distracted is a personal problem that you should manage better, not dismiss or misjudge candidates for. Interviews are a 2-way street, and the struggle for diversity and inclusion is already bad enough without “sistas” finding a superficial reason to make women not feel comfortable being their authentic selves. Unconscious bias is real. Again, I say this as a 6-figure, former Amazon AWS manager, college professor and CNBC contributor.

I’m a 1987 supposed to be high school grad (GED at age 25) and have a great WFH job. I had an amazing call center job-20 years, working up to supervisor until local office closed. Don’t stress over your age.
I recently started a new job. My first day of work was also my 50th birthday. Yes, there is age discrimination but there are companies that value knowledge and experience. Keep your hopes up.

Today I called the city and the person who assisted me on behalf of my application was working from home cus I could hear a baby crying in the background lol she even told me please hold lol I was like awe! Been there done that, made me realize I should look for a remote job as it could be more convenient for me and my son.

maybe being in pharmacy is a good thing in the resume or a good part of the company to work for but i currently work for the company in the store as a front store associate and it’s not been a good company to work for especially because upper management like head honchos do no care about the concerns and complaints we’ve had. now that’s just speaking for MY experience. not for everyone else nor do i know about this part of the company

If I were like you just starting out to find something remote I would look into customer service jobs. Chat or phones. Phones will suck but just stick with it for a year to get that experience to put on your resume. Fast food is customer service in a way and most times no experience is required for these roles just keep looking! Especially on indeed be sure to filter for no experience required

Hey! That’s also good insight! However, this is for Aetna International (which they acquired in 2017). There also isn’t a location (“US based applicants” or “Visa”) requirement in the JD, so you’ll be servicing international claims, under the Aetna Global umbrella. If you look on CVS’s website, they indeed have a “Global” section, all thanks to the Aetna acquisition 😀 I love getting other perspectives on these sorts of roles because there’s always different interpretations 🥰🥰 so thank you!! ❤️

Don't mention your children during the interview. Most people know we're working from home. My company PSCU is a great WFH opportunity.

I’m having so much trouble finding a work from home job, have crazy anxiety over the last few years so going out working in warehouses and doing shift patterns makes me so nauseous to the point I can’t do it anymore. I got a job offer today for data entry position with cvs health. I was surprised because I originally applied for the CVS/Aetna position but was turned down but a few days ago received an email for virtual interview on zoom for data entry position.Asked a series of question in which I had to type my answers in the text box.A few minutes after we finished was offered the position and sent offer letter etc.

I just despise how a lot of these companies want you to have all this experience know all these specific systems (because different companies and industries use different systems and softwares) yet want a candidate coming through the door to know and have all the experience they are looking for and it’s not realistic. Smh this job market is very discouraging and the majority of companies want talented skilled qualified workers but pay peanuts.. #the math AINT mathing !

I am a full time nonprofit professional and I absolutely love what I do but I want a part time evening job for the next 1-2 years so I can reach some financial goals. When I applied for WFH jobs previously they were roles speaking directly with customers and they wanted you to have open availability even if it was just part time. References aren’t really requested anymore. But if they are, you can use old Bosses/managers, classmates, church members etc.

Seriously, references rarely get called or asked for because anyone can lie. One can literally say anyone was their previous supervisor and put any contact info. Said supervisor may or may no longer work at place mentioned, therefore, you could put a personal email address n cell.
I have a question. Can you post a list Of non phone stay at home jobs that you can do without a specified shift? Meaning you get paid with how much you complete. Most of these stay at home jobs require you to be available during a specific time and it makes it hard if you are caring for children. Thanks

Applied for their workforce planning coordinator job about a month ago, got an interview but just got the notification that I didnt get the position. First thing when the recruiter called me she asked me how much i was looking for i told her the website stated between $17-27 she said that is a mistake they have bene having alot of issues with it and the position pays $17. I have a masters degree and what Im noticing with alot of remote customer service positions they dont wanna pay you. I did get a better position but im continuing to look

My problem with CVS work at home jobs is I live in MA and they only offered me $17.50/hr. That’s insulting considering the cost of living here.
Try getting a second job. I moved out of MA a year ago and live in Tennessee. I work as a Medical Assistant making $26 per hour. Look into that, it's so worth it!

@@sammiyen I got mine from NHA. I registered to take the Medical Assistant exam. It's 180 questions. The thing is you need to go to a program IF you have no prior medical experience. If you do have at least a year or more experience then you can bypass the school process and just study for the test.

Hi; I’m a say at home mother that needs to get back to working. I used to do customer service for Waste Management and Apple but I no longer want to talk on the phones and I’m not able to talk on the phones anymore. My son has severe acid reflux. He’s only seven months he’s been throwing up since he was born, and it’s hard to be on the phone talking with someone when he needs my undivided attention. if I can find me a job that requires me to just type and fill in information and not have to worry about someone on the phone, then I know that I can easily do that while still taking care of my son. please help ❤

Love your videos! From one sista to another, try not to use your hands so much when talking. Let your mouth do the talking & not your hands. Remember many are watching & learning from you & u do not want them to develop that habit when interviewing or just talking in general. As an interviewer I want to focus on the person words coming out their mouth & not be so focus on their hand movements. Keep up the good work!!
That’s sounds like a personal bias you’ve developed that is now being projected onto others. My hand gestures never kept me from landing 6 figure corporate roles, as young as age 25. If someone is focused on my hand gestures, vs. screening for the best fit for “skill set, values and aptitude”, then that would make you a pretty shallow person. Your tendency to be easily distracted is a personal problem that you should manage better, not dismiss or misjudge candidates for. Interviews are a 2-way street, and the struggle for diversity and inclusion is already bad enough without “sistas” finding a superficial reason to make women not feel comfortable being their authentic selves. Unconscious bias is real. Again, I say this as a 6-figure, former Amazon AWS manager, college professor and CNBC contributor.

maybe being in pharmacy is a good thing in the resume or a good part of the company to work for but i currently work for the company in the store as a front store associate and it’s not been a good company to work for especially because upper management like head honchos do no care about the concerns and complaints we’ve had. now that’s just speaking for MY experience. not for everyone else nor do i know about this part of the company

If I were like you just starting out to find something remote I would look into customer service jobs. Chat or phones. Phones will suck but just stick with it for a year to get that experience to put on your resume. Fast food is customer service in a way and most times no experience is required for these roles just keep looking! Especially on indeed be sure to filter for no experience required

Hey! That’s also good insight! However, this is for Aetna International (which they acquired in 2017). There also isn’t a location (“US based applicants” or “Visa”) requirement in the JD, so you’ll be servicing international claims, under the Aetna Global umbrella. If you look on CVS’s website, they indeed have a “Global” section, all thanks to the Aetna acquisition 😀

For the JD not having a location or visa requirement, the one for the other (non international) role also does not have these.
