Nice route. I spent a few days in Bellingham in July (on the way to BC). We did Happy Hour multiple times - it's a terrific trail, possibly my favorite at Galbraith. On the other end of the natural/machine-built spectrum, Unemployment Line is hard to beat.
Thank you for the recommended route. I've ridden up at Galbraith a few times but this route looks fantastic. I made note to try this the next time I'm up there.

I just want to add that voiceover trail reviews didn’t even touch the most famous and ridden trails add galby. I enjoyed this perspective, especially because the most popular trails are not exactly your style, but I think it is worth noting that galby has SO much to offer.
Galbraith is too big to cover in one video, so I had to start somewhere! There was logging on the South side of the park, so I didn’t get a chance to ride a few of the more popular trails. I’ll come back this Summer to fill in the gaps. I’ll probably do at least two more videos on Galbraith.

I mean, I had to give the guy credit. It just so happens I like the trails he picks!
By the way, that's sandstone and not granite. Galbraith is composed of the Eocene age Chuckanut Sandstone. Great review and I can't wait to get back up there.
Doh! Northern Washington geology is crazy!
I'll be near Bellingham on a family trip and get one day to ride. Can't decide between a Galbraith sampler and the trails in Darrington. I've been to neither of these areas. What would you do? Thanks!
It’s a two hour drive to Darrington, and you’re in for a minimum 3,000 foot day unless you’re shuttling.
I’d probably rather stay in town, get an awesome ride in, save 4 hours of driving, and go ride Chuckanut with the extra time. There’s also lots of other cool stuff around B-Ham but not much of interest on the way to Darrington.

Could not agree more. Went to Bellingham this last summer and I can't wait to move there.....I mean, come back to visit. 🤣 Such amazing riding. Recommend evolution. The wood work on that trail is just mind bending how long they took to build it.

you know what is missing? when you talk about a drop off a rock roll, it is not followed up with the actual ride thru the feature. why bother with a video if all u gonna do is talk about it.?
