I think it was worth mentioning regarding Raceroom that part of the content is free - including recently updated, excellent prototypes or great Aquila CR1 cup car, as well as some great tracks like Sepang and Portimao - and you can try out all the cars in the roster before buying them, as well as check the entire game's functionalities. I always thought those aspects of their purchase model were underappreciated. Usually you need to buy a sim or a DLC blindly, based on other people's impressions. iRacing is the biggest offender in that regard, with its prices and wildly varying level of quality.

Raceroom if you want to simulate the feel of driving a real car and hear the sound of the car engine screaming at high rpm. Its the closest sound to a real race car.
1. rFactor 1/2 2. Automobilista 1 3. RaceRoom 4. AMS 2 5. iRacing 6. GTR 2/SimBin 7. F1 Challenge 99-02 8. LFS 9. GPL 10. ACC This is correct rating by physics based on my many year experience in simracing.
Great review. I think AMS2 and RF2 have the best physics, and, particularly with AMS2, the various cars all feel different. I find iRacing's cars all feel somewhat similar. All things considered; graphics quality and optimization, physics, cars, ease of use I put AMS2 at the top.
4:00 How physics may be a "personal preference"? Physics is an objective thing, based on math and formulas. There is only one measurement - more detailed (realistic) and less detailed (arcade). Would you agree that NFS3 is hardly a racing simulator?
Raceroom and ACC for me. Although I also have AMS2, I don’t really spend much time on that. The Prototype cars are awesome, but that’s about it. I picked up Raceroom in the summer sale for under 40 quid for all the content using vrp. Okay, so the graphics aren’t the best, but it’s still amazing what they’re doing with direct x 9 and the force feedback and physics are really good. I had ACC on the console and it was terrible, but since switching to PC it’s brilliant. Looking forward to what happens in the next couple of years with things like Rennsport and AC2. Interesting to see what they add to sim racing too.
Ive own ac, acc, ams2. Playing offline and i would say for casual sim racing, ac have the most variety option, mods is a must and it is lightweight for nowdays pc spec. Ams2 for me quite forgiving in the driving aspect but too cartoonish in my eye. In the end i always going back to acc for its very pleasing graphic and immersive audio quality eventhough it is the most graphical demanding. Verdict : AC all in one sim
AC and AMS2 are my goto sims. They really have all that I want. I cant get raceroom to feel good on my simucube(felt great on g29 lol) and ACC is fun sometimes but very narrow.
Likewise here regarding raceroom, felt great on the g29 but not so good on the fanatec csl dd. AMS 2 is my goto, especially since the new tyre model roleout.
Great summary Ben, pretty much agree with you on all points. At the end you asked the question, 'If you still can't decide which is best for you' I thought to myself Raceroom gets my vote for best getting started sim. I think the vast options available in ACC, AMS2, and iRacing would have been too overwhelming for a complete beginner. With Raceroom I didn't spend a dime and ran a multiplayer race within a couple hours of installing the application. Good stuff man.
My main drivers for circuit racing are R3E and ACC. The FFB and Physics are the closest I feel to my real cars out on the track. I have never been able to come to terms with iRacing. The physics feel very strange to me, though the latest tire model update was a huge improvement. The FFB is just at this point is just laziness from the dev team as well. For rally I kind of hit all of them, but WRC 10 has most of my time. The stage design is just brilliant and the physics are good enough to be believed, even though they are much more forgiving than RBR.
Another aspect of immersion, for me at least, is the sound! Whilst I love Raceroom F4, the cars do sound a bit basic. I believe they had a sound update a while back, so dread to think what they sounded like before that! RF2 has had recent sound updates across the new content, and they sound superb. I do like AMS2 sound also, where they seem to have nailed the differential whine and rpm unloading when the car gets light over bumps etc.
I love the Audi R8 Evo 2022 for that reason a lot (ACC version). Well, I also enjoy its handling the most out of all the cars in the game using the basic aggressive setup. FFB is also good for ACC standards. There's just so much joy hearing the sound going from 4th to 5th to eventually 6th gear going to full speed in Paul Ricard, Spa, Nürnburgring.
@@gameurai5701 well said my man ! But honestly I like all car sounds of ACC because all are unique on their own but I prefer Audi and Lambo Sound more then others, also AMG and Bentey are crazy nice especially exterior sound
Excellent summary. There's also the issue of platform and title availability. For those of us on PC we don't have this limitation, but those on PS or Xbox will be limited to only a few sim titles like AC (no mod support), ACC, or PC2. And those of us on PC but have older CPU/GPU there are plenty of options, but they may not be visually polished, like RF(1), AMS(1), GTR2, or RRE. Also, if someone wants to host online races they will have to consider how easy/difficult it will be to setup an online race or series with their chosen sim. AMS2 has that option integrated in the sim, whereas AC (don't know about ACC) and RaceRoom have an official app for launching a server. I hear that launching a private server in RF2 is a nightmare.
Live for Speed is an option for people with really old PCs. I'm on a vacation in Serbia right now where I only have an i5-4670 with onboard graphics and this game runs well on it. It came out in 2004 so the graphics are definitely dated but the driving experience isn't all that bad at all, even on keyboard and mouse. I'm going to make sure to install it at home when I return in a few days to see how it stacks up on my G29 vs AMS2, ACC, BeamNG, AC and Raceroom.
Very good video, thanks Ben. No topic brings forth such hot debate than the various ways of asking 'what is your favourite sim', but I think you gave it a very balanced attempt. I would perhaps have mentioned rF2 under the 'variety of content' heading also, as it has a similar depth of mods to AC for example, but you are right the AI is very hard to get a fun race against. I'm sure this video will serve as a great reference for those trying to get into sim racing - but the conclusion in my opinion is - "you need to get them all eventually"!!! 🤣🤣🤣
IMO raceroom is the most underrated sim. It runs great on virtually any PC. I love reactor 2 but it's not exactly plug and play, albeit the new interface is a major improvement. I racing is just to expensive, plus due to work and family life, I can't commit to the online scheduling. 😫
What is the reason for RaceRoom to appear on a line signalling "no online" in the thumbnail when online racing is most of the races you do in Raceroom?
My favorite sim is by far Raceroom it feels best for me however i use iracing most for its online ratings and series racing schedules i love AC but it has no real online racing but love to play it with mods and running laps with great physics and ffb
Good sides of Raceroom : great phyics and FFB, alot of free content, the ability to tryout the car for a unlimited time before buying it, great and positive vibe in online racing, a nice ranked system, great cars sounds, you dont need a powerful pc to run it. bad sides: graphics are outdated due to the old engine they use, no day and night cyclus, missing different types of weather, and still missing certain cars/ car brands, pricing is a 50/50 because you as buyer decide how exspensive you make it. Raceroom has alot to offer can be exspensive dont have to be, doesnt have every type's of weather or the best graphics but this game is absolutely outstanding and also the exact reason why i dont play ACC but spend all my time on Raceroom especially with my CSL DD that combined with the great FFB does a outstanding job telling me what the cars does or if i hit kerbs to harsch etc.
Hey David buddy - nope definitely not. Just bought a bunch of stuff I was missing in the sale. Typically I’m away just as they release Interlagos (tomorrow I think), but when I’m back I’ll be back on ranked.
So far from what ive seen RR right now has a sale on content with the beginner pack being 10 bucks the second bundle is 60 and all the content is 107 usd
Informative....I own pretty much all of these except for I-ransom. I would say RFactor 2 has the best force feed back. AMS2 best graphics (ACC close second). RaceRoom best handling model for me (entirely subjective). Also a big fan of AMS2 handling. It is very different and on the other end of the scale to RaceRoom and ACC. I wish RaceRoom would add dynamic weather and time. Would make me play it way more.
@@abuelb in your opinion. Not mine and many others. As for the camera bouncing??? Well let’s just say that can be turned off. ..If you know how! It is actually meant to simulate g-forces and helmet movements. I prefer to race without it myself hence I turn it off.
@@SlightlyMisunderstood AMS2 environment camera movement in cockpit view is just awful. Yes the jumping car movement relative to the steering wheel position can be turned off. @@abuelb it is different to the other popular Sims yes. And takes more tweaking around to find a good setup. But once you do it is actually a lot of fun. Try it!
Played them all. For physics RF2 is the best. It is really almost real. You can feel all the weight and everything, even if you play with a controler with a little bit settings corrected you still feel every car.
Well done, Ben. Maybe a word on such comparisons in general. What I miss most of the time when people discuss about ACC in comparison is, that it is a very specialized sim for one racing series in the GT3, GT4, some Cup cars classes. IF you are more into open wheelers, vintage cars, and the maaany other interesting and challenging racing series of the past and present, ACC is simply no option. Not everyone likes GT racing and even if you are looking for GTE and Le mans Prototypes , you need to skip ACC already. So it covers a certain niche and Kunos can put all their combined efforts on basically a handful of cars. When looking at the grids of todays ACC online racing, you can even break that further down to mainly GT3 ( I mean who drives GT4 seriously these days except for quite a few people in RL racing ) and in GT3 on less then a handful of cars. Looking at you MacL, BMW, Fezza, Astons and Audi. Sometimes a Porsche makes it, but too difficult to ride for many. Don't get me wrong. I own practically all of those sims and some others , except iRacing. I really love ACC, but only for 2-3 cars and the tracks. I have AC , and out of the 20+ mods I have, only less then a handful are really good. But still not for offline racing as the AI is a very weak point in this game. I like AMS1 for 1 or two series and it's rF1 feeling, but only for very few cars. Likewise AMS2 which gained a lot of ground over the past year, but still : AI and custom offline racing ? Forget about it. R3E shines if I want a full grid of a VLN like Nordschleife 24h event, except no weather other then dry. It's physics and FFB have been much improved and for some series, I can resemble the feel I ha in my rally car when racing on tarmac or when roiding my Supra and Corvette. But, the stable weather is actually a no go for racing in the notoriously and challenging bad weather region of the NordS. That leaves me with rF2. While I adore it's physics ( flawed or not ) and even more it's super crisp and dry FFB, I hate practically all the rest...most user unfriendly racing game I have. I MISS an updated GTR2 and it's tons of good mods though. So at the end of the day, I use all those sims but only for very selected racing series as none of them does all things best. Even ACC has quite a few cars I don't like and it's AI is , well say less then what one would expect from such a sim. So bottom line, no ranking from me as each satisfiy other needs and requirements.
Hey Davy - thanks for the feedback buddy! Yeah so I played a lot of PCars 2 as well but prior to getting my rig - I guess with AMS 2 now out and on the same engine, it doesn’t get mentioned too much, but I’m aware many still play it in leagues and communities 👍
For me, they are all good. Few others not mentioned that I have is Assetto Corsa, Project cars 2 and 3, The one racing game I do not have is IRacing and won't get it because I do not want to pay monthly subscriptions. Plus I do not have the dedicated time anymore to do competitive online racing. All these games for me are just for entertainment for an hour or two and use various vehicles to drive around the Simulated or fictitious tracks, either doing time trials or with AI. All my games I do in VR. I will be waiting for IRacing's development of a new PC based Nascar game in 2025 which hoping it will be better and more realistic than the ones currently available on STEAM.
Hey buddy - are you looking to primarily race online or offline? I’m not that knowledgeable around PC specs but a quick Google suggests to me you’ll be able to run all of them.
@@Ben_LaBroca I can recommend him to try Assetto Corsa w\Mods, Assetto Corsa Competizionne(Unreal Engine 4), Race Room (free to play with all in 1 game), and BeamNG (CPU is used heavily for simulating, and recent graphics updates will get GPU to work) with mods. Basically every race game is modding capable - so it may test his GPU ability to render while moving really fast. Racing games should be focused on single player and multiplayer should not be different from single player - all should be equal. Tired of games that has only online - this is not the way. Like Squad - only rely on people to populate 100 player server and its take hours... No AI or COOP. Racing games should provide freedom.
I feel iRacing has made a huge step up this year/season for physics and ffb. ACC feels very numb to me not sure if I have my settings wrong by acc always feels soft compared to iRacing for me.
ACC and iRacing have completely different FFB systems. ACC tries to stimulate the “edge of your seat” feel that G-forces give you. While iRacing only simulates what goes through the steering wheel.
@@baguette7535 use irFFB. turn SOP up to 100% and Suspension Bumps up to about 75% its brilliant. Iracing was dull and i kept spinnig out until i stumbled across irFFB
I own all apart from Iracing and Raceroom.. I'm really new to these sims and found myself only playing ACC. I do fancy Raceroom. Downloaded the free version. Had a go and it seems good. Now I'm torn how to invest in it. I want single player to start with. But if I buy everything it works out at around £50. I missed the sale but with VRP the saving is still good. Plus I get the newest track
RRRE and AMS2 for me, baby! Just the content. It's right there and nice and juicy. AMS2 has the immersion and VR on another level. R3E is good fun and solid enough AI. But for people who race mostly online, that's a different story.
I got into sim racing about a month ago, and after 1 day of playing ACC, my impression is that this is almost certainly going to become my favorite "non rally" racing sim. Ive also only played AMS2 for 1 day, and it has a much better variety of cars and tracks - but to me the realism of ACC just felt like "next level" compared to AC and AMS2 👍 If i had to choose just 1 "non rally" racing game, it would probably be AC due to the selection of cars and tracks, but i might perhaps change my mind when Nordschleife (and hopefully several more long tracks) comes to ACC. AMS2 also have a decent selection of cars - and a good selection of tracks - and the graphics are definitely better than "vanilla" AC, but i have not figured out how to use my T248 steering wheel for navigating menus, and i REALLY dont like having to reach for the mouse all the time 😐
Nice vid mate. I'm looking for the sim that looks/performs the best in vr while also have a good and active online multiplayer base without the cost of iracing. What's your pick?
Ooo tricky one. I'd say it's probably RaceRoom, although the playerbase has dipped a bit recently. Assetto Corsa will also do you nicely if you can find regular races through SimRacingGP. AMS 2 is great in VR, but I'm not sure about the online scene.
@@Ben_LaBroca interesting, thanks mate. I haven't looked at Raceroom much. Will take a look. AMS2 looks good but concerned online might be tumbleweed. ACC would be ideal if the VR was reasonable. Very blurry for me.
I’ve got all the sims mentioned and iracing is the only one that can easily run huge online team events. They are spectacular often with 55 cars a split for a 24 hour race and 30-60 splits, all ranked by ability. That you can also do great 15 min sprint races means it has virtually every kind of racing you want. Also run the VLN series to race 4 and 6 hours at Nordshliefe, Le Mans, Bathurst 12, Daytona 24, Spa 24…just the best racing ever. Get in a team, get in and it’ll change your view. Our team won our split in the Le Mans 24 in LMP1- best racing experience ever with a multi national team. #parabellumracing
I tryed them all and i find it most fun for my time i spend simracing (few hours a week) AMS2 is the one.....just my humble opinion. And it runs so smooth in VR
So many classes! A ton of dust on wheel and pedals, totally muddled classes ... even forget R3E / iRacing which is what! Looking at a substantial workload, so would love to just do ovals / NASCAR. _thanks for this_ ^5 *--ben*
p.s. over/under-steer turns out to be fascinating controversy! I thought it was obvious ... from road experience (up and down dirt roads with muddy ruts. oh, and patches of frozen/icy dirt here and there!) I always went over-steer, trusting instincts to compensate in the moment. But? having heard some aces talk about the other option ... hmmmm. Some notable names figure under-steer is more consistent, more predictable, more controllable ... can be dealt with, apex to apex. Dang, *_that really does make sense!_* 🙂 cya
I pretty much agree with your assessment but for me Race Room stands above the others for pure enjoyment. Graphics are dated but in the heat of competition you don't really notice.
Hey bud - I haven’t played it enough to give an informed view unfortunately. The online side is still lacking from my experience. I enjoyed the BTCC cars they released recently, so hopefully one day I’ll get stuck in properly.
I wish race room had more players, comparing prices between raceroom and iracing, it's much better for casual enthusiasts with a full time job, unfortunately I can never find people to race with, it's so dead now, what a shame
I like a physics but don't want to ways have to drive gt3 cars, production cars are what I like and I rather use a shifter than use paddle shift. My opinion only
Good video. And How to know best match ? Try all yourself :) In my opinion. Rr is too linear, with unrealistic characteristics for some cars . Iracing don't worth money for all dlc with it's netcode and outdated graphic, particles Acc is amazing for gt3 lovers. But quite boring, not big variety of online if you are in online. And visuals, feelings are much less then ams2 I prefer. ams2 after all and after it's latest update. Best visual, best physics in many terms And ams2 damage is way more interesting then acc
For me ACC 24/7 BUT because I use triples it’s hard to run… 5760x1080 and I use low-mid settings so I leave some eye candy to the left, especially shadows and mirror quality I suffer, also visible cars etc… ACC is very beauitful if all settings are Epic and use 1440p minimum, I use low-mid settings on 1080p, it’s STILL VERY OK but not perfect on those settings, I use RTX 2070 Super with i7 10700K 4.8 gHz OC and 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 latest update, Nvidia Driver Latest Update and even when I have 60-80 FPS, sometimes 90-100 FPS, I suffer from STUTTERING when passing 1-3 crashed cars, it’s annoying and I think Nvidia Driver is responsible.
Interesting that you mention AMS2 as an example of "best graphics", because I think that especially in sunny daytime conditions it looks incredibly sterile and artificial, moreso on tracks where the environment mostly consists of grass and trees. Just did some laps with the Porsche RSR 1974 on Brands Hatch at 16.00 under the light clouds setting and found the experience to be pretty miserable, the car squirming around even after the tyres had warmed up, felt like the tarmac was covered with a layer of black ice. I then switched to Assetto Corsa, choosing the same track, time and weather and using the AC Legends Porsche 911 RSR 1973 and it was like a breath of fresh air. Visuals, sound, handling, FFB - everything felt miles better and in the replay the car now actually resembled a 1970s Porsche rather than a plastic toy model. The livery (#13) looked sumptious, while those of the AMS 2 Porsche must be one of the ugliest in all of sim racing. Recently I've also been paying a bit more attention to Raceroom and while I agree that sim can be an absolute eyesore when it comes to certain tracks in the noon time slot, it has a quality to it that just feels right most of the time and watching a replay of a Group 5 car on BH at the afternoon setting looks and sounds so genuine that you can almost smell the petrol fumes. After a rough start ACC has also grown on me; not only is it the sim that looks closest to the real thing despite the TAA induced ghosting and blur, the cars sound great and there's a subtlety to the handling and FFB that seems very natural and believable.
this is a pickle honestly...i mainly do pve, but always have the itch to do pvp especially in enduro...and rf2 with its shitty lm24 means that iracing is my next bet...but the cost associated with getting licenses and tracks scares me...if only AC mods were acknowledged by the organizers....
FFB Rfactor2 Visuals AMS2 Online iracing AI racing ACC They all have their own pros and cons - iracing is too expensive, rfactor needs the AI fixing, ACC runs like a dog even on a spaceship… If you just want to pick up and play, have a somewhat realistic fun experience in a variety of cars / tracks and it look fantastic - AMS2 is the one
Even though I've got them all, I hardly ever open AMS2 or ACC. I stopped subscribing to iracing two or three years ago because I couldn't justify the expense any longer since I barely entered races. I enjoy raceroom's challenges the most. I like that project cars didn't even get a mention 😆
My fav sims are AMS2, RF2, and Assetto Corsa.. I never managed to get Raceroom to work properly. The wheel setup is buggy as hell. So I have zero interest in that crap. ACC is fun, but Assetto Corsa with mods means I very rarely play ACC.
This video does not make any sense. Instead of talking about the sound, physics, A.I, community support (like mods), etc, you talk about budget looool . You basically talked about what doesn't matter. The money should have been an extra category... like the last 15 seconds of your video.
So how is GT7 and Forza Motorsport Reboot more realistic than iRacing, RaceRoom, ACC and AMS2 in terms of driving model? I can tell that you're here to troll while you prefer the controller pads more than racing wheels. I'm also a fan of Gran Turismo & Forza Motorsport series and you're making the fans of these two franchises get embarrassed.
I agree, I uninstalled it from PS4 it was terrible. Completely different game on PC though. I would definitely recommend giving it a go on the PC if you can.

I second this. My 3 favorites are Raceroom, ACC and AC. AMS2 just cant get their physics and ffb right and the camera motion in cockpit view.
Ah that’s a shame re. RaceRoom! You’d think it would be great versus the G29!
AMS2 has quietly (ha, ha) made a lot of sound improvements over the past 6 months or so.
Which one works best with a controller? That's all I care about.
Sorry buddy I haven’t driven any of them on a controller so can’t say. Someone else who has may see the comment and reply though
IMO raceroom is the most underrated sim. It runs great on virtually any PC. I love reactor 2 but it's not exactly plug and play, albeit the new interface is a major improvement. I racing is just to expensive, plus due to work and family life, I can't commit to the online scheduling. 😫
Iracing is the best for everything by graphics.
ACC has the graphics department.
What is the reason for RaceRoom to appear on a line signalling "no online" in the thumbnail when online racing is most of the races you do in Raceroom?
Ha nothing deep Fred, a genuinely random order for the sims. Graphic is just an illustration of the video idea.
My favorite sim is by far Raceroom it feels best for me however i use iracing most for its online ratings and series racing schedules i love AC but it has no real online racing but love to play it with mods and running laps with great physics and ffb
Automobilista 2 is also very well priced especially during Steam specials
Also I really enjoy AMS2 Physics and FFB...
Note: AMS2 had a massive update since this was published, reworking driving models and AI
It's iRacing for me. Especially in north American time zones, it's the only sim that I can consistently find races (against real people).
Good video Ben! Lots of solid facts for those trying to decide between the different sims. W
Cheers Walt!
Raceroom just got a massive graphical update, i'm guessing that puts it on par or above the rest
I believe it and AMS2 have single player modes, which is v important to me
so are you done with raceroom?
Thanks Steve - agree on dynamic weather and time. Maybe one day!
AMS2 has the worst physics and ffb out of all sim games. Not to mention the jumping camera cockpit view.
Its also overly sensitive, oversteer, hairpin ice triple luts corner physics, rubber band effect wheel simcade game. Replay cameras suck
Iracing for me. I have RaceRoom with all content but feels numb and dumbed down for me compared to iracing. Bit arcadey
Thank you for this video. Really helpful. I'm a big Project Cars 2 fan. Isn't this game considered a proper sim racer anymore?
Hey Davy - thanks for the feedback buddy! Yeah so I played a lot of PCars 2 as well but prior to getting my rig - I guess with AMS 2 now out and on the same engine, it doesn’t get mentioned too much, but I’m aware many still play it in leagues and communities 👍
@@Ben_LaBroca ow I didn't know that. I'll need to pick up AMS then
Do the Formula One 22 cars come as part of a free update with Automboilista 2 or are they paid DLC?
Free!
@@Ben_LaBroca Much appreciated!
I agree a lot with what you say but Rfactor 2 needs a few more mentions. Particularly on physics and FFB
Hey man - for sure! I need to play it more!
Which of the simulators is the most optimized? For a 1650 4gb and quest 2 vr?
With my G29 and RTX 3050 and Ryzen 5 4800 HD, what do you recommend?

Does race room really only run with DirectX9?
So I use ACC and R3E and I am pretty sure you nailed it....
Ah thanks man - appreciate that!
Couldn't agree more with your analysis, Ben.
Not entirely sure I'd pick iRacing as the best damage-model, but now we're really nit-picking.

4.NASCAR-?
Great video! Thanks. I might give Automobilista 1 and 2 a go.
Ams2 is on sale for 10 quid atm. If you've got spare cash lying around it's a no brainer.
So many classes! A ton of dust on wheel and pedals, totally muddled classes ... even forget R3E / iRacing which is what!
Looking at a substantial workload, so would love to just do ovals / NASCAR.
_thanks for this_ ^5

p.s. over/under-steer turns out to be fascinating controversy!
Dang, *_that really does make sense!_* 🙂

No mention that the first automobilista goes on sale for dirt cheap, runs on a potato, has tons of interesting cars and tracks, and decent AI.
Hey man - it's a very fair shout. I haven't properly played AMS and I need to. It will come to the channel eventually I'm sure.
I pretty much agree with your assessment but for me Race Room stands above the others for pure enjoyment. Graphics are dated but in the heat of competition you don't really notice.
No RF2 bro?
Hey bud - I haven’t played it enough to give an informed view unfortunately. The online side is still lacking from my experience. I enjoyed the BTCC cars they released recently, so hopefully one day I’ll get stuck in properly.
AMS2 ALL DAY NOW
You read my mind 🤗
Another factor is VR performance
I wish race room had more players, comparing prices between raceroom and iracing, it's much better for casual enthusiasts with a full time job, unfortunately I can never find people to race with, it's so dead now, what a shame
Raceroom having those sexy as fuck dtm cars gives it the immediate win in my book!
Also its free to play and not... iracing
If you race in vr, avoid ACC
I like a physics but don't want to ways have to drive gt3 cars, production cars are what I like and I rather use a shifter than use paddle shift. My opinion only
Best racing sims in VR are RRE and AMS2. ACC and RF2 are great titles but not great in VR.
am2 is the best between these 4 sims.
Good video.
And How to know best match ? Try all yourself :)
In my opinion.
Rr is too linear, with unrealistic characteristics for some cars .
Iracing don't worth money for all dlc with it's netcode and outdated graphic, particles
Acc is amazing for gt3 lovers. But quite boring, not big variety of online if you are in online. And visuals, feelings are much less then ams2
I prefer. ams2 after all and after it's latest update. Best visual, best physics in many terms
And ams2 damage is way more interesting then acc
FFB Rfactor2
Visuals AMS2
Online iracing
AI racing ACC
They all have their own pros and cons - iracing is too expensive, rfactor needs the AI fixing, ACC runs like a dog even on a spaceship…
If you just want to pick up and play, have a somewhat realistic fun experience in a variety of cars / tracks and it look fantastic - AMS2 is the one
Raceroom the best!
VR is key to immersion. Sadly ACC runs like crap in VR for mere mortals whereas AMS2 runs great and looks better.
Actually you probably should have brought up iRacing in the "good AI" department, although you're not going to subscribe for that reason most likely.
Me too. Bet you have been playing the free content over May me thinks?
Wow, seems like it really varies. Because as for me ACC has one of the worst AI ever in all sims/simcades. And could be compared only to pcars2 :)
hehe opinions differ, i like the ai in pcars 2, you need to set it up properly , for every class and track.
3:02 Better stay away from iracing then.
My fav sims are AMS2, RF2, and Assetto Corsa.. I never managed to get Raceroom to work properly. The wheel setup is buggy as hell. So I have zero interest in that crap. ACC is fun, but Assetto Corsa with mods means I very rarely play ACC.
Para que poronga pones el título en español si después me vas a hablar en ingles
This video does not make any sense. Instead of talking about the sound, physics, A.I, community support (like mods), etc, you talk about budget looool . You basically talked about what doesn't matter. The money should have been an extra category... like the last 15 seconds of your video.
maybe you can make a better vid then???
We all want the most realistic sim then complain when they charge too much. I think iracing is cheap.
