Undoubtlly the hardest part about this is finding the right spots and people.

Yeah every time I do some parkour in a public somebody is always you can't do that here. Do yourself a favor a go to a park that has a hiking trail, big open space, and lots of trees

You can find most parkour groups on the internet, and they already know a few spots. But really finding spots on your own is hard and takes time.

I still love this video after so many years. I still love the idea of training all sorts of different ways that are not specifically for certain "parkour moves". This is definitely one of my favorite inspiration videos for conditioning.

You know those videos you always liked and keep coming back to it. This is the video really meant to be here on TH-cam.
I look like a bodybuilder but I was always encouraged by parkour and calisthenics athletes. But without you guys here I wouldn't ever know about the Farley's Husks. Really great video.

The exercises in this video are just suggestions. The goal with this kind of training is to challenge yourself and work on the areas you feel you need to improve. So, the number of repetitions and/or duration of each exercise is totally dependant on your own capabilities. If it's challenging, and you feel that you're benefiting from it, then it's good! We'll address the number of reps etc in the forthcoming Strength Training 3 ;)

I can't put a timescale on your training, as it depends on your current level, and how much work you put in. You can never be 'great', as that suggests that there's no more room for improvement. Just try to be slightly better than you were the last time you trained, and you'll see a gradual improvement over time ;)

Yes, it's very close to Deansgate train station. To get there from Piccadilly Gardens though, walk down Market Street to Deansgate and go left, following Deansgate until you get to the Beetham Tower (the very tall building). One of the roads on the right is Liverpool Road. Go down there, and you'll find some of these spots on the left, just past the museum.

@MrArty303 We have a dedicated conditioning session once a week for about 3 hours, but we do bits of conditioning every day.
A callus is just hard skin which forms as a result of abrasion. In parkour, this is typically on the hands, caused by climbing, hanging, swinging and all of the other things you typically do when training. The hard skin helps to reduce the likelihood of cuts to the hands.

Really good ideas! But.. those squats etc can be bad for your knees when your knee goes further than your toes. Also your back can get injury from lifting eg. people with.a bad posture. Thanks for the video! Maybe you could update?
