Hmmm.....
I didn't know about some of these, 18th and 19th are mind-blowing for me. I also noticed:
Chapter 9 - if Tommy enters a car at the moment the final cutscene of 9-04 is being launched, then 9-05 chase would have it's camera behind the truck, the car Tommy was entering at 9-04 would be spawned along with Paulie's truck, and the camera behind the truck would make it extremely difficult to aim at chasers.
Chapter 10 - when you arrive at the airport, your car is being repaired to a mint condition, but surprisingly is not being refueled.
If you kill one of four Frank's bodyguards before he runs into an airport, then another bodyguard would not follow Frank approximately until Tommy reaches parking lot. This bodyguard would stare at the door ignoring Tommy even after the first firefight, making himself extremely easy to kill and obtain sub-machinegun ammunition.
If you keep truck driver with crowbar alive until 10-05 checkpoint, he would be as violent as that woman, attacking either Tommy, Frank or his family. Loading 10-05 with truck driver alive has funny results
nice facts. there are also a few checkpoints you can bug by spamming action button while loading e.g. Clarks Motel (that lets you actually drive the car you arrived with)

Omg, Paulie is a demon!
I have Mafia 1 in French since I was a kid and I loved not only the dialogues in French, but also death sounds by every characters (allies, neutral and enemies) especially Tommy before game over. Plus no matter how many times I played Mafia 1 in French, I cannot help but notice that during the cutscenes, the characters in French are speaking a bit faster than normal in English.
Imagine if anybody is doing a video of every deaths / game overs possible in all available languages in this game.
I have to admit the French screams are much nicer than the English "AUGHAWAW"
and yes they do speak a lot faster which is why speedrunners play in French.

Here's an interesting fact I discovered, although it's not something particularly hidden: when the police are alerted, their road blocks are made of the late-game police cars even early on, and the police officers guarding those blocks are armed with shotguns. I did once get a shotgun and a modern police car as early as Ordinary Routine, although the car was not saved in the garage, of course

We really use the reverse strat in speedrun for the race, u save approximately 2 secs with a perfect execution.
