- Hey you guys! I don't know why, but Led Zeppelin always find a way to make me cry! Thank you, is a love song! It is beautifully written! It is the connection between one and another. "There will still be you and me." Unfortunately , for us, we had a couple of our TH-cam family asking to reacting to this song because a loved one of theirs passed away, this passed COVID year, which makes this song even more powerful! I tried my best to hold back tears as I remember our family member who passed! I put myself in our TH-cam family's shoes and thought how much they missed their loved one and I tried my best not to cry. We hope that you liked our reaction to Thank You! Zeppelin, Yes! As much as The Doors are my band for personal reasons, I think The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are the best bands ever! The range of music they played were crazy. Rock. Hard Rock & Ballads. Loved the reaction! Love how Mia is growing in her reactions. From being the little sister watching Juliet and Sarah talking to now almost always being the first one to pause to give her thoughts and feelings! Great job Mia!!

The guy I named my son after died in a car accident. Led zeppelin was his favorite band and mine. He was my first love. I also got the 4 symbols tattooed for him. I always think of him when I listen to them especially this song. ❤
So sorry for your loss.
I asked the girls if they could react to this song and they did! It was about a year ago.
I lost my woman to covid and mentioned it to them if they could help me honor her.
And they came through and helped with the transition of carrying on with life.

Robert Plant wrote this song for his wife. He titled it "Thank You" because he was thanking his wife for sticking by him.

Wow I was really impressed that you know the band by their names. And you're right, they were all musical geniuses. That amount of talent in a single band without having drama is almost never heard of. Led Zeppilen was a one of a kind and we lost John Bonham way too soon. They would still be together today if he would've lived.

If you don't cry at this song there is something wrong with you. Your reactions were spot on as usual ladies. If you want to see Jimmy and Robert playing this live there is the " Unledded" video from 1994/5 or even a verse or two sung by Robert during the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert from 1992. This song once again demonstrates the range of composition that Led Zeppelin had throughout their career. Now girls, you need to relax and rock out by reacting to " Dazed and Confused" or " In My Time of Dying" or " When The Levee Breaks"!!! Stay safe and healthy.

This is what I would consider one of the first, if not the first, "Power Ballads" from a hard rock band. It was released in 1969 on thier Zed Zeppelin II album. One of the many albums I owned as a teenager back in the '70s.
These girls are gifted. Smart. Fun. Natural. Emotional. Entertaining. Insightful. Talent. Beautiful loving human beings. Parents should be proud of their girls and of themselves for raising two gems.

This was my husband & my wedding song, we’ve been married 39 years. Robert Plant wrote this for his wife, she was a nurse, & supported them while he was a struggling musician. They married in 1968, & were married for 15 years, & still remain close friends. Yes it’s a beautiful song, & is very special to my husband & I.

My wife and I were High School sweethearts and we have been together almost 35 yrs now and this was "our" song back in the day. It perfectly put our love for each other into song.
The band has amazing diversity. One of the best songs for going between right and left tracks is “What is and What Should Never Be”. Great song and amazing back and forth between left and right

You accidentally cut off the end of the song - it fades out then comes back up again. As others have said, Robert wrote these lyrics for his (then) wife, Maureen. Jimmy rarely sang but harmonizes with Robert on the "little drops of rain..." section. Jimmy plays a 12 string guitar on this which helps give it a "tinkling" tone which blends beautifully with the Hammond organ played by John Paul Jones. A lot of people have used this as their wedding song.

I think you ladies are finally ready to check out YES... Let's start with the song Roundabout. Studio version is a classic but any live version is wonderful. There's even one with Getty Lee on bass from the rock and roll Hall of Fame induction of YES.

I can still remember hearing this song back in 1970 on my little transistor am radio, loved then as much as I love it now, there have been many who cover it and try to sing it just as good but there will never be anyone better than Robert Plant. This song was made specifically for Robert's voice no doubt about it

Led Zeppelin is the only hard rock band that cannot simply be called a "hard rock band". I mean, their music was so varied, original and implausible that I can only compare them to the Beatles. It would be in a way the Beatles of the hard. Even if it's not just that in the end...
