Thank you for bringing up the struggles that some people have with sleep when they have kids. I hate when some people say you need to prioritize sleep. Yes I want sleep but I also have 2 kids. They are 7 and 15 now but my 7 year old still comes into my room. He was in my room at 3am this morning. Nobody explains how to get enough sleep with kids. My kids have a routine and a bedtime.
I stopped sleeping near the end of my first pregnancy. 12 years later and I became so sleep deprived after getting a max of 3 hours a night that I was physically in pain from it, gaining weight, losing hair etc. Sleeping pills didn’t help but I am on medication that is reversing all the brain inflammation and now I can sleep a full night.
I have a 2 yo and a 6 weeks old baby. I really try to prioritize sleep, but baby needs his boobies 😂 and she sleeps on me every night so...😂 but I know I'll sleep again ❤
So true. Even after my children started sleeping better, my body was so trained to wake that I would wake up throughout the night still!
So true, I have a 3 month old, 1.5 yr old & a 2.5 yr old
@@jazzmoon77this is me now… 10 years and 5 kids in and I still haven’t figured it out… I barely get 3 hours😢
You really should make the night time routine, I’m curious lol I just take a shower, brush my teeth and then hit the sheets. Love your content it’s so motivating!!! 💞
Ditching restriction has been so freeing! For the first time in my life I’m trying to focus on EATING MORE and not skipping meals to get my protein in and I feel amazing.
My only regret is not discovering this sooner.
Weightlifting and eating more protein have been life changing. I’m so happy. ❤
I just want to thank you for showing up because it has motivated me so much to show up for myself. I was listening to Frugal Fit Mom on TH-cam the other day and she was talking about how you just have to climb the mountain one step at a time and it could take years to do, but those years are going to pass either way. The question is “Do you want to be where you are now, or looking down at the bottom of your mountain at the end of those years?”
I started weight lifting classes and it’s the best decision I ever made. My coach helps my form and any questions I have. I now feel so confident if I ever have to go to the gym alone to lift weights.
Thank you for the push to complete my workout! I turned on this video with every intention of melting into my couch. A couple minutes in, I went and grabbed my weights and did my workout while watching your video 😊
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I so agree with you on the mental aspects of weight training. I just finished a year of cancer treatment for two cancers and actually gained muscle during my treatment. I do get a body comp scan (DEXA) every year to make sure I am always trending in the right direction. The confidence that gives me is immeasurable.
i lost a lot of weight recently w ozempic and i’ve gained some of it back (i expected to between my birthday and a few trips i had planned) but now im so ready to get serious about my health and fitness journey and videos like this are exactly the motivation i need. your channel always hits, keep it up!!
Needed this today. I started my gym journey in January and haven’t seen the scale move. Just trying to take each day as it comes. Thanks for your inspiration ❤
Awesome video! I was like you and restricted so much and lost weight fast but guess what, I gained it back and then some. Watching your videos helps me not feel overwhelmed to start an actual sustainable and maintainable weight loss journey 🧡
I started lifting 3 months ago and I relate to everything you said. I have never felt better! After years of stubborn fat not budging, I am finally seeing results. Even better, it’s empowering and challenging. I have energy and I’m getting stronger. I feel like a badass! I actually look forward to exercising now. I want to shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone I know! 🙌🏼❤
I love the idea of the way to build self-confidence is by keeping the promises you made for yourself
My biggest peeve is when people use early postpartum pics as before 🙄 that is not your norm. We are all heavier right after childbirth… So I like how you acknowledge that a lot of influencers ARE naturally smaller people that maybe just didn’t used to be as fit, and it’s nice to see people who’s default is plus size or something like that but have really transformed.
She’s never had a baby
It should be banned for the first 3 months postpartum. Shouldn’t exercise for 6 weeks anyway, calorie restriction in those first months is not good for breastfeeding, and most women will lose a solid amount of baby weight without trying in the first few months anyway. All these “before” pics taken day 1 out of the hospital are not it.
I’m a personal trainer and nutrition coach and I’m in awe of how simple and accurate this video was. Such a great explanation!!!!
Super reassuring & happy to hear that 😊 thanks for watching
I just went back and started rewatching your older videos. So real and inspiring.
Appreciate the realness with the struggle! I can so relate it’s hard!! Keep going 💪🏻
Great video ! Needed this today. I’ve following you since December and got inspired by you a lot. I also being strength training since January. This week specially has being feeling. Xtra tired and not motivated. Thank you for keeping it raw. And saying that it is hard. But we are here for the long run! ❤
This was so inspirational 💝 also very insightful~ 👌 the first time I learned about the 12/3/30 was actually thru you 😊
You are so motivating, and down to earth! Just found you, love your videos!
It’s so exciting and inspiring to see where your journey has brought you and I can’t wait to see where it’s at in the next year. I can definitely tell such a huge difference not just in your physical appearance but your mental and emotional vibes as well. I’m so excited for you. ❤❤
Step 1: sleep and recovery.
Mmmmmm my 5 month old son who keeps me up at night is hindering my progress 👀😂
Ugh I’m sorry :/ you are definitely the exact scenario that this is probably on hold for lol. Hope all is going well with your little baby 🫶🏼
@@morgreeen honestly all good, he’s so worth it! I totally meant it in a “awwww shucks it’s his fault” jokey way because I’m totally the problem 😂 I have been doing so much better with what I’m eating though and also making sure we go out on daily walks, did 15k steps the other day with him in his carrier 😅 he’s literally the light of my life 💕💕
If I saw this video 6 months ago, I would have said no thank you, but for the last couple of months, I have been walking at least 10,000 steps per day and weight lifting and omg night and day! I also haven't lost much weight but my clothes fit better. The Mind Pump guys literally changed my life. Still need to work on getting enough protein as a vegetarian, though lol Thank you so much for this video. It's such a great feeling as a fellow 5'1 girl knowing I am not alone. ❤
One thing I'll add is to try a lifting workout where you're not listening to anything. It allows you to focus and push 10x harder.
If you're listening to a podcast, then you're having to split focus between what you're hearing and the task at hand. So you're not as singularly focused as you could be.
Outdoor walking and formal cardio don't take any skill. So listening on headphones is great because you can go on auto pilot. But lifting is multi-tasking with breathing, tempo, and speed to lift on the eccentric. So, adding in people talking wastes focus.
This was so dang inspirational. I’ve been lifting for two years and I feel so stuck, like I haven’t made any progress. This video really reignited that joy and excitement I used to have for the gym. Thank you sooo much!! 🤩🫶🏻
Literally never been so early to a video 😂😂 13s that’s a new record for me lmao

Morgan, been a follower of yours for a while but this was one of your best videos. Keep going ❤❤
You’ve helped me ❤thank you 👍🥰
This is so good, thank you! You’re great.
I absolutely love this video!! 🤍 Thank you so much for sharing your journey! 🤍 You look amazing!! 🤍 You are a great inspiration and your tips are fantastic!! 🤍 Thank you again, and many blessings to you! 🤍
Your body is goals! I love that you are fit and fine!
Hi Morgan. Great video and very encouraging. One thing, though. The amount of protein recommended is 1g per KILOGRAM of body weight, not 1g per pound. It would be really, really difficult for a 300-pound person to eat 300g of protein. However, if you are 300 pounds, it's doable to eat 136g of protein (300lb ÷ 2.2 = 136.36kg). Keep doing ur thing it's infectious.
IIRC it’s 0.7-0.95 per lbs optimally. I think it’s been researched. By no way 1g per lbs is necessary but it’s an easy number to shoot for for people looking for maximum optimal gains. 0.5g per lbs is what i recall was recommended at school for a normal person not actively looking to build most muscle.
@joannalau4243 Exactly! Also there’s a limit right. Like it may not be appropriate for someone at 300 lbs for example
Great video. I've experienced so Many of these.
This is great information, thank you!
You looks strong and healthy!!
Thanks for this video! Its given me motivation! Can anyone recommend any apps that teach someone who is completely new to lifting weights? I've never lifted weights before, and I want to try. Thanks in advance!❤
the weight lifting is so true
Watching twice for extra knowledge absorption! 😁
Good morning Morgan how are you happy Tuesday morning to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
I really want to start weight lifting, but I'm so intimidated by it. I also don't know who to follow or ask to make sure that I'm doing anything right
The hardest part is starting. Pinterest is where I started. Just screen shot 3-5 exercises you want to try and do it. It will all fall into place
There are a million TH-cam videos available for free to follow. Search weight or strength training. Check out several until you find some you like. Start slow with light weights & slowly increase over time. Or if possible work with a personal trainer to get started & then continue on your own. Most importantly, have fun!
Megsquats has a great program called Before the Barbell. She’ll teach you everything you need.
I used to search the equipment on TH-cam to make sure I was using it right with proper form. Some yt shorts were most helpful for stuff like RDLs
Thank you ❤❤
Congratulation on the vídeo👏🏻 and I wish you a great day 🌚
Are you still working out at nights now that you're weightlifting? If you do, do you eat afterward?
Excellents Questions. Thank you very much
🙌Great video!

I did 60 pushups!
This is one of your better vids!
Here for a night routine video!!!
Plans on a video going into depth on the programs you do?
I am just about to complete my third programs through the alive app which I love!! I did a review video on them if that would be helpful for you :)
Is it 1g of protein per pound of your ideal weight of per pound of muscle?
