    I noticed that we will not and cannot see physical changes in our bodies until at least the 12 week mark. Give yourself grace. Pay attention the the stamina, endurance, and strength you’re gaining day to day. The physical differences will absolutely come… they’re right around the corner!

    Don't EVER worry about re-wording to put things delicately so people aren't offended. If you feel a certain way, it's absolutely fine to say it grrrrl. If you feel fit, happy, bloated, fat, skinny, whatever...you have every right to feel it and to tell us. Those who get offended are the ones who really have no right to...they aren't you.

    Honestly this is how I don’t completely give up on my health journey 😅 I remind myself that every day, every HOUR is an opportunity to make a new choice. If I make a not-so-great choice one moment, it’s not gonna kill me or destroy all my progress. Just make the next right choice and keep it moving.

    6:42 “just chilling” is the hardest. I have ADHD and it really doubles down on the need for semi-instant gratification.
    So I’ll get my act together, be consistent for a few weeks, not be able to see 👀 any dramatic progress and then go off the rails

    I am the same height as you, you said you needed multiple ibuprofen for your period + the period bloating, and same and I just really appreciate your consistency and motivation to do the work

    I eventually had to completely do away with drinking , because I could never moderate enough to lose weight and it killed my workout s.

      I was tryna drink my body weight in oz and my dr was like nooo do not do that. It’s HALF your body weight lol😂😂😂 I was peeing every minute

      I think that’s the route I’m on, or even just only for specific occasions like holidays or birthdays. It’s a difficult balance to navigate & affects so much time

    Being 54, full-time work from home and having lower lumbar arthritis makes it rough. But I just got my walking pad & I'm psyched ❤🎉🥳. I don't drink or eat out often, but consistency is everything - we got this!!!

    You don’t even understand how much this helped me. We have the same body type and this showed me that consistency is KEY. Not starving myself, constant diets, and giving up at the gym. CONSISTENCY. & believing in myself. I’m so happy I came across your channel, this video particularly!!!

    Subscribed! This is exactly me right now. I was in my best shape last April and over the summer gained a good 10 pounds of fat. I know I’m no where near where I was when I was at my heaviest but I so badly want to be back where I was. Watching this video on the elliptical and not feeling as alone ❤

    Wowza! I lost 30 pounds last year but this year have only been able to maintain it. It’s been insanely discouraging and I struggle with food. I’ve had so much fear because I’m preparing for surgery and every time I’ve had a surgery I’ve gained a lot of weight. I needed to see and hear this video. Especially the days you struggled because on days I struggle I definitely feel alone in it.

    I feel EXACTLY like this rn. After my wedding and two weeks vacation plus probably 1 month and a half of no consistent workout it is really hard to get back to it! But I am doing exactly what you did, one day at a time!

    I feel you so hard! I've been on a reset, fitness and health journey since summer ended. Most days I feel great and then some days I feel like there's no progress and it's difficult to keep that motivation. I love how you said that the extra weight you gained over summer is temporary.     One thing I noticed, because I did it too, your knees cave in when you squat. I wore a resistance band to remind me not to move them. I would push against it. I also had to do this with RDLs. Helped fix my form. I'm there with you, I love weight lifting!

    Thank you so much for ur honesty. You literally got me off of my couch yesterday after watching this video. I ended up walking for 40 minutes on my treadmill. I did not feel like working out yesterday, but when u said that u didn't feel like it one of days and how it can easily turn into the next day of not feeling like it, etc. A switch came on for me.     I very recently went through a similar struggle. I got married, moved, and got a new job and with all the new changes started eating a ton of unhealthy foods and stopped exercising completely. Now on month 2 of healthier eating and consistent workouts, I feel and look so much better! I felt so hopeless but it just takes motivation and patience.

    I’m such an emotional eater and always struggled with body image, and various eating disorders and also just a lot of other mental health issues and this winter had been such a low point. I’m happy I go through it but now I am in that phase of body image issues again and feeling fat and it’s so hard to get over that and just be healthy and kind to yourself when I sabotage myself my binging and other stuff

    I’m just coming across this channel and video and I know everyone’s body is different and sometimes needs different things to lose weight but I have been trying to lose weight for a little while now but watching your video gave me some more motivation for discipline because your start body looks like how I am right now and we have a very similar shape as well so I like to see people that workout with a similar look as me and non similar look so I can see what works for others and what works for me
