Nice to see some explanation of this usage specifically for anybody still confused. I kinda breezed over it to get to the PC combos in my own long form modern guide because there was SO MUCH to cover.
I don't play Marisa, but I enjoy how analytical you are and how you break down her tools. It's always nice to see somebody who specializes in these types of characters that top players don't talk about or use.
Love the content as always definitely abused the new medium dima into heavy superman puch to throw people off and ended up in masters finally. Your content was a big help with learning new setups and punishes and i wanted to say thanks for the amazing tips that help me push my way into masters
Woohoo! Your videos make me want to go in the lab which is what I do the least when playing this game. Thank you for the inspiration since I didn't see what the options are for uncharged cr HP on throw whiff!
People at my mmr don’t know how to backdash. I am now unstoppable. But they also don’t know how to delay tech. So now I’m back to square one 😂. Great video though!
ive been looking at this tech in the corner with throw loops and it is abysmal. so the dash up throw loop of course is fake and losses to jab but for the shimmy you have to wait for the active frames of throw to be over, unless it is delayed, giving you a 2 frame window to hit the full charge punish. then if you do drive rush throw loops the throw loop is 2 frames and manually timed but the crouching heavy punch is auto timed for the punish. unironically the 3 charged CHP in a row into light gladius isn't that bad doing 3.8 k and using no drive
Yeah, after corner throw I usually just DR HP to hit the second active frame to be +2/+8 oB/oH. Can shimmy from there and react to missed tech with crouch MP into OD quad for really good damage.
It would probably depend on how much they delay their tech, but in general yes that should work. You just have to be mindful that that is going to get smoked by jump.
@@ZachHenke Be good to see a vid like this: Every Marisa player NEEDS these 5 essential training drills / Instantly get better at street fighter with 8 simple training drills
That sort of wastes the plus frames. Especially since the forward movement on the charged version changes the distance and sort of ruins the spacing trap.

I’ve been thinking about doing both a ridiculously long guide (like Broski’s Aki guide) and a “How to play Marisa in two minutes”.
@ How to Play Marisa in 3 Seconds: Gladius
@@ZachHenke A guide for beginners, I want to play marisa pleeeeeease 😂

Awesome! Master is where the real grind begins.

Hey bro, crazy idea; throw in an extra howdy in the next intro and see if anyone notices
That sounds fun. Just keep adding them until someone mentions it.

No delay tech just means frame trap city. Either you’ll catch them mashing, or you just make them block forever.
Thanks for the vid.
I'd write something more pithy but my brain is dead ATM
Thanks for engaging with it.

Great vid! Would a delayed b+hk beat both delayed tech and backdash? And OD dp

@@ZachHenke I always get smoked by jump. I got used to flying in with either superman or od quad at lower levels and trying to shake the habit
Nicr title. Might want to include patch as a keyword dude or November patch/season 2.5. Whatever people would be more receptive to
Done. Thank you.

Might be overdone though so might need to dial up the marisa specific
If views slow down man, always be testing to see if you can move the needle:
"Why did they buff Marisa with THIS!? SF6 Season 2.5 patch changes"
cool, cool, a little specific. If I am charging HK then im cancelling to Gladius, it feels much safer
