I think the way you do your presentations with the clear wall and the illustrations is great! So far this is my favorite type of lectures and presentations. Giving the lecture while doing the drawings at the same time is really helpful in understanding the information, thanks Professor Givon!

This process was the most difficult for me to understand because there are so many components but this video helped me learn it! I did have to pause it a few times to process the information and connect what was happening, however it is nice that I could slow down and do this with a video whereas in lecture the discussion continues at a fast pace
I was able to understand this concept from reading the book, but watching this video further clarified and helped me understand fully. I am disappointed this did not show up on the test because I feel super confident about this information. I like how you explained more about PKA function after it is activated.

Adriana Martinez, to this day we can’t create objects as small as cells that do as much as cells do. Much of the complexity is needed in order to keep things organized, create feedback mechanisms, and maintain checks and balances. They also need to be organized in such a way that the cell can build itself.
If I am understanding it correctly, ATP is what is being converted to cAMP, because the G-protein is attached to adenyl cyclase? Is that correct? and the cAMP then activated the protein kinase-A which causes the physiological changes that occur from this second messenger system? I am still confused which hormones get secreted from this second messenger system?
