at 6:25 you said the smooth muscles relax (dilation), but at 6:35 you said NO works via PKG to allow smooth muscles constriction. can you please clarify?

The NO that diffuses out across membrane, bound to guanylyl cyclase of the target cell, which helps in formation of Cyclic GMP from GTP, and later the Cyclic GMP play its role as second messenger and so on.

@@animatedbiologywitharpan, at 2:57 minutes you say: "the smooth muscle cells are innervated by several blood vessels." You do realise that your statement doesn't make any sense, don't you? Blood vessels don't innervate, nerves do. Your video doesn't show what causes the release of ACh to stimulate endothelial cells to make NO. So, how does the endothelium "know" when to make and secrete NO?
@@psandbergnz Thanks for the criticism, I meant to say smooth muscles are innervated by blood vessels (ya after listening to 2.57 it sounds a bit stupid biologically). Maybe I would make an elaborated video on this topic, it was just an overview for broad audiences.
Very nicely explained..with adding the real structures of the molecules.

could you share about erectile dysfunction through this pathway too?
in smooth muscle cell, is there any guanylyl cyclase take action for cGMP forming??
I dont know in english, but: fosfodiesterase tipo 5.
It turns GMPC into GMP. its also inibited by Viagra (sildenafil)

Sir please do a review on Question Paper as less time is available
Or make Question Discussion Topic Wise
GQ or GS receptors?
None actually...cGMP effect depends on the expression of a cell-specific cGMP-receptor protein in a given cell type
