Good news, apparently Netflix are making a TV series based in the 40k universe, its going to be based on the Eisenhorn book series (an inquisitor), you've picked a perfect time to learn about 40k
Hell yeah, love this game! After you beat single player def check out the multiplayer horde mode (If it can match make). You can customize your own loyal or traitor marine
Hey Josh :) the planet where this game takes place is a critical ForgeWorld manufacturing Titans. A Forgeworld, if you learned your lessons well ;p is a world administrated by the Adeptus Mechanicus and entirely dedicated to the production of technological stuff. Most Forgeworlds have a kind of specialization (even though some are more generalists), and this one produces titans... So this planet is really a critical strategic objective and they will not count the billions of guardsmen/guardswomen sacrificed to keep it under Imperial control ! Only in the direst of circumstances would they order Exterminatus on it, because the production capacities and technologies that would be then lost would be a real blow to the Imperial warmachine. Some worlds, like Armaggeddon for instance, are so vital for the Imperium that they prefer to endure a state of perpetual war on their surface than lose them. And, yes, you definitely have to try the multiplayer (but you might not find enough players to do so) AND the Exterminatus mode (only 4 players needed, and not even, because you can play at only 2 or 3, though it will be reaaaal tough !!) ;)
Playing the game in 1 hour chunks is nice. Looking forward to seeing you continue tomorrow, i actually think the game got a good story, so will be interested in seeing your take on it.
You seem very hesitant to use your heavy-duty grenade l- ... I mean \m/ VENGEANCE \m/ launcher. I understand conserving the good ammo for a rainy day, but every time you pick up an ammo crate and your vengeance launcher ammo is already maxed out, you can think of that as wasting the potential vengeance ammo you would have gotten! It works really well against groups and powerful opponents, and if you make use of all your sniper ammo as well, there will never be a reason to switch to the wimpy pistol you were complaining about! EDIT: Nvm, you got the plasma pistol and melta gun now :D
don't be afraid to use melee more as its actually useful against the large crowds just on't depend on the stun button as its slows you down. they should be used in tandem.
Titus, an ultrasmurf we can all enjoy. Being voiced by Mark Strong, big bonus

Still miss the multiplayer, can join a steam group called red death or something who play every week though.
MOUSE AND KEYBOARD!
First person shooters should never be played with anything else.
