That movie was shot at that hotel too. We went to the lobby bar to have a drink. I’ll tell you to eat before you go though bc the food there is expensive! Also saw that chapel at the Air Force academy when we went there as well. I got some AWESOME shots when I was there. I love Colorado!

No one appears to be over 24 years of age. All millennial. Bad roads. No good restaurants unless you like "Noodles co. or Canes chicken". Good luck in getting a good job if you are not military or married to military. And God knows what they do with people 40 and over here! And get use to altitude sickness and being constantly out of breath walking anywhere. No proper department stores. Saks Fifth Avenue would close on a week if we even had one here or a Bloomingdale's...closest one is in Las Vegas! And your car will be fine if you own a garage so it doesn't get pock marked from the baseball size hail that dents the cars here. Check out Miami. ..you will love that tropical paradise with the island treasures of the Caribbean a short cruise or flight away!🏝⛵🛳⛴🚢⛱🌊🌝🌞

I moved to Colorado Springs for the mountains, but also because the almanac said they have 330 days of sunshine and It truly does have 330 days of sunshine. I lived there for 19 years and it was awesome. It felt more like home to me than where I grew up. The only reason I had to leave was because of family, otherwise I would still be there. I have not seen everything Mark talks about, but I have seen most of them and I can attest to the truth of most of what Mark says. Colorado Springs is my favorite place ever. I especially love the weather, the dry air and very few bugs, (meaning almost no mosquitoes). The hiking is unbelievable. Running the trails in the Garden of the Gods was always a blast. I will always be homesick for Colorado Springs.
I was there last August 15 to August 18 with America by Rail, saw Rocky Mountain National Park, Garden of the Gods and Georgetown Loop Railroad , Colorado was awesome to me such a beautiful state.
I actually need a job opportunity that’ll help me get to the job and work for a weekly pay. I know I would be a great employee. And I want to let my daughter grow up here as well. Either here or Arizona

So we moved from SoCal to NM last year since my family had migrated there over the past several yrs- My husband's family lives in CO Springs and we are praying about moving there. We are not feeling the work environment here. Currently my husband is applying for jobs in CO- however, my sister mentioned her friends said "everyone smokes weed and drives under the influence since CO passed the weed law." I kinda think she was over exaggerating- what is your opinion on that. I was looking at Manitou. It reminds me of Big Bear where my husband is from and we lived together for a few years. Lots of retired military here. I doubt you will be in flip flops year round. The weather changes a lot. We’re thinking thinking about mover closer to Denver for better job opportunities.
Serious question: how is the elevation there for people who have asthma issues, and just overall health? I hear the high evaluation is hard for people to breathe normally if they suffer from asthma or any respiratory issues. And over prolonged time your blood vessels to your heart struggle more from the elevation living there.
No to the flip flops. Yes, I loved living there. The storms rolling off the mountains. The open spaces. The low humidity.

Cheyenne Mountain High School is the main high school in D12. The Vanguard School is a charter school and is K-12.
My Front Range Living what about in district 20 my sister is looking at air academy high school
McRib District 20 is a highly rated district, but I don’t have any personal experience with D20.

Yes! There are certainly days in the winter where flip flops are not ideal, but then the next day will be sunny and perfect for flip flops!
