    Try mod it sound much better like a custom. Lube wires and switches and maybe try lube stabs then it sound like custom kb. Its just 3-4 screws, and 2 cables

    You're one of the few I could find who is actually positive about the razer v2 switches. I own many keyboards and I actually love these razer v2 switches and been loving my huntsman mini. But I kinda felt like I was the only one. Everyone is so negative specially about the stabilizers for every key, but for me it actually gives every key a much more sturdy less wobbly feel. With the build in silicon damping the key sound is great. Yes you do hear the stabablizers but its clearly seperate from the keypress sound itself. I don't know why everyone is so negative about the huntsman mini. I really love it and its actually one of my fav keyboards of all time. Sometimes I feel like people just say these switches are bad because your supposed to say their bad otherwise you aren't really a keyboard pro.

      I noticed that as well.
      Been looking at a bunch of keyboards and reviews are all high/similar but user reviews/forum posts mainly love to negatively talk about razer. Seems like a hate to hate thing because they rarely give reasons. One of the biggest things I heard about was the software Synapse. I used software from SteelSeries, Corsair, Logitech etc and there is no noticeable difference in computer performance. My only complaint is the software has to be loaded for certain settings depending on the keyboard you are using but many razer products you only need to run the software once and never again.
      Razer even updated these analog keyboards for free with rapid trigger. Granted it can not be as fine tuned as on the Wooting boards but it's still good.

    The ability to change the actuation point is very helpful to me because I have a hand tremor. If makes this keyboard more friendly for old folks like me.

    The analog switch may have some appeal for some, but it seems that Razer can't figure out a good middle ground between the features, the fact that their own lower priced huntsman mini has more appealing features (silent keys and faster actuation) makes the product line seems very convoluted.
    I saw the analog released a few days ago and that there were no reviews, and I now see why. Razer made a product that is very hard to review because it is not really better than their own alternatives. I guess they wanted to take some of the Wooting 60HE market but their analog switches can't quite get there in my opinion.
    And I say this as a Razer Huntsman V1 TKL and Mini linear owner.

    I think until you can set a keyboard into a "higher resistance" mode then i doubt the analog will be useful in games. I too bottom out my keys and i doubt i could control pressure enough to matter in things like forza or something.
    But it would have to be a separate mode or something because it would make typing terrible haha

    literally the only game i could see these switches be used to there full potential is in rocket league since you can turn slightly instead of fully right or left with these switches just like if you had a controller, that is if you play kbm of course. But everyone knows youre supposed to play controller on rocket league.

    Analog Keyboards are very very powerful in games like Fortnite where you get way better and more controlled movement with "RawInput Double Movement"
    You got a much deeper strafe angle, or less of a strafe angle if you perfer. Wooting 60HE was the godfather of these keyboards & did a fantastic job with their keyboard. You just have to get used to it.

    • @wintersoldier4269
      @wintersoldier4269 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There comes more problems with these analog switches then it’s worth for a “tighter angle” you get input latency from software with wooting and also with 0.1 you get ppl pressing shit they didn’t mean to press.. anything past like 1mm is gimmicky. Rapid trigger is another gimmick. I tested out my Razer huntsman mini and pressed in and released a little and pressed and it did the same shit. Everyone just mashes keys and releases and mashes again it’s almost instant. It’s fast enough. But hey let people pay for gimmicks.. Razer huntsman mini is the best gaming keyboard out right now. It’s specs are perfect. It’s fast enough and fun to use

    • @bobshanery5152
      @bobshanery5152 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wintersoldier4269
      It is gimmicky but Rapid Trigger works insanely well in certain button mashing games. I do not see how it matters much in something like Fortnite. It could help in games like CS (first shot accuracy games) but so could a low activation keyboard and someone who learns to lightly touch. Rapid Trigger is more forgiving and can allow for a more consistent feeling if you bottom out once in awhile or get tired. The biggest reason for people going "This is insane" "like cheating" etc is more of the fact the keys reset 0.1mm and the fact you can adjust keys to not constantly miss click. There is a reason gaming keyboards are around 1-2mm. Going beyond that you will start running into issues. So add in insanely low activation point and a reset of 0.1 and it can feel very smooth/consistent. I image a similar feeling could happen if keyboard manufacturers remove all the deadzones on keys. So much wasted space from activation to bottoming out.

  • @typerightseesight

    I spent $250 on the huntsman v2 and IT DOES NOT WORK the way you think it does. It's a weird gimmicky way of using a controller. You CANNOT use mouse and keyboard with it set to joystick mode in almost 98% of games without either glitches onscreen HUD issues or it plain wont let you. The only thing I have figured this is for. Is your suppose to use the keyboard WITH a controller. Like an oldschool virtual rifle where you holster the whole set up with your left hand on the keyboard and your right hand a controller as the trigger hand. I have not been able to play any games with it sufficiently. It does work in some. Like csgo. but it feels janky as a mamma jamma. This thing doesn't say anything about it supposably hinting an inkling at duck hunter. It's also not a very good joystick as compared to an xbox controller the sticks have a curved graph that is infinite while the huntsman has literally 3 actuation points. It does not feel anything like a controller when you use it. But, it is the coolest keyboard out there it feels 0%-100% actuation. I just wish it was smart enough to curve them as the joysticks do. There are axial offsets ingame settings on some games but they arent intended to be adjusted to 3 actuation points as far as I know. Just a grain of salt.

    • @typerightseesight
      @typerightseesight 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also! I plugged it into some software and even tho it claims usb 3.0 on the box the keyboard itself is 2.0 only the passthrough is a usb 3.0 header. lol. When you plug it into synapse 3.0 it tells you it will not work without a 3.0 usb port. lol. even tho they are literally only talking about the passthrough header. haha

    I'm not a fan of the teeny tiny keyboards that are so on trend right now. I type as much as I game, and I'm forever hitting the wrong switch or double clicking. The keys are too closely crammed together for my liking. I'd have one if I travelled a lot, though.

    • @krebsgewehr
      @krebsgewehr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They make a fullsize huntsman v2 with choice of analog, clicky, or silent linear. They pretty much make everything these days, it's pretty wild.

    • @DurdyPurdy420
      @DurdyPurdy420 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The keys aren’t crammed together
      You could swap the keys off your full-size keyboard onto a 60% (excluding a few models that have a smaller shift or enter key) and they would all fit
      And all the numbers and letters are there for typing still
      Only keys that are missing is the number pad and the arrow keys and the six keys above the arrow keys (print screen, page up, page down etc)
      So I can see why someone prefers a bigger keyboard for quick access to the function keys or to have the number pad for hot keys
      Typing is the exact same on the full-size or the 60% huntsman

TKL, sure, but any less, having to hunt around for F keys and arrow keys, not for me. Give me the full board with lots of RGB , media dials all the bells and whistles. It may be also coused by switches implementation but still is impossible to notice diference in speed.
