    You picked up a giant bone around 47 seconds. You'd be surprised how many we mistake for 'just rocks'. And that's not rock that bone is sticking out of. It's flesh. And some of that other stuff you're onto but you'd probably pee yourself if you knew what it really was. Great finds.

    • @effu9593
      @effu9593 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @SeaPin lol and I bet you didn't know those supposed million years old dinosaur bones are often found with flesh attached and the archaeologists love to scrape that off to get their reticulated skeleton for props. How on earth does flesh last that long? It doesn't. Man really lived with and alongside dinosaurs. And there is so much truth hidden today, yes giants really did exist and still do.

    If a museum didn't want the big rib fossil cluster or any of your big finds. It would look like a University with courses in geology and paleontology, and natural history would want them to teach with. Students could prep them and display them in classrooms, some of the large rocks could be hiding much more than a glance can pick up on. Plus the students could move them 🤣

      😊 I'm all with you on this one! I've been fascinated by the Gaspesie region, the Cap Chat SteAnne des monts, for the many stones I found by the beach and very old stone tools. In the mountain too, my friend lives there, so I got to see places and collected so many different kind of stones on the beach that I'm still discovering after 2 years 😄 And with Google earth I saw that some patterns are going to New Brunswick, many seemed like very big creatures...
      Considering that only 5% of the region has been checked and it's position, many things are still to be found about earth's beautiful way to tell us stories, ours 😊

    Could you not get a friend or two and make up some kinda sledge and get the boulder with the ribs in. Walking on beaches is hard a mile on a beach by map is often a lot more for a fossiler as you zig zag your way around. Fun video's don't stop doing them.

    Could the large whale bone containing boulder be floated out? It’s very difficult too let go of such a specimen…

  • @glennboyd939

    I can understand fossilized bones in concretions or sedimentary rock, but those rocks appear to be very hard formed by volcanic means. Because they are all large and smooth, shows that despite a long time in wave action, they haven't broken apart.

    If you wanted too, could you chip away the stone and reveal the fossil?
    We have beaches like that. All I seem to see, are shells and ammonites 👍

    You need a new wagon man! Wish I could send you one of the badass ones from Harbor Freight I've been tempted by, that will haul 900 pounds or so... But then, you might hurt yourself!

    Should carry a pick and chisel. Maybe a few wedges too. Most good finds come from stones barely showing anything. Because it's all inside. And ones that have a lot of stuff showing? Means it's more likely that some or most of the phosil has been busted away.
