I discuss the Rough Ryder Coral Snake Texas (Jumbo) Stockman. Model # RR2275. This is a jumbo sized stockman and has a closed length of 4 7/8" #ThriftyKaniffy
Snakey colors on that snakey handle. I like the looks of this one best in the series. Thought about trying a light grey dye just to calm the colors down.

Pretty sure these were originally in the Colt line many a year ago. (I commented to soon) I thought about getting this one but the double nail nick on the main blade killed it for me. Still a pretty good looker. Maybe they’ll pop a Sowbelly or big or medium toothpick. Glad they skipped the blade etch. That sheepfoot is almost always weak on this pattern.
The 2nd nail nick is really useless here so I get it. I hope you're right, any RR sowbelly would have to be REALLY bad for me not to pick it up. The Whittler would have been my second choice among what's currently available. Speaking of popping up, the buckshot bone copperhead looks to be a new addition to that series.
@@ThriftyKaniffy , they usually have around 8 patterns in a release. Two stockmans is not unusual and the Colt Coral Snake had a Sowbelly. I’m hopeful. I’ll grab a Sowbelly even with the big R.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Oh yeah, I found the web pages, but they don't come up when you do a search on "rough ryder" and then sort by new. Usually this is the case when older models are re-issued. But the RR2275 number is actually about 200 ahead from all the other knives recently released. It's like this knife came from the future or something.
Ooo I like those colors. The jumbo stockman pattern has definitely grown on me. The shape reminds me of an alien 👽

When we drop our edc in a drawer those colors stand out in that dark drawer. Easy to spot.
True. Same goes for my Pink Sowbelly, but nobody likes that one. Least viewed video yet.

What's the deal with this one? The #2275 is quite a jump ahead numerically, yet when searching by new on SMKW they don't come up.
