There's similar hacks like this for other trucks. If I remember, the correct way is to install a larger wiring harness to deal with the increased amperage. The stock stuff can melt down when you force it like that.
I see you have a Chevy Traverse. I have a traverse, ironically the same color. Anyway, I want the fog and headlights to run as one unit. Can that also ve done to the Traverse?

I did this mod, and it turns the fog lights on with the high beams, but when I turn my fog lights on separately, my drivers side high beam also turns on with them. Is that normal?
No it would not be correct. I would verify it is installed correctly, if it is and the problem persists contact boost auto. They are very good with customer service and helping out!
No, that is a different thing you can get through Boost Auto. This allows having high beams. Low beams and fogs on instead of lows and fogs turning off when you switch on high. I will end up doing that as well though. Stay tuned.

After install.. the fog light button turns on my high beams.. and the high beam switch turns off the fogs still. Did I do something wrong..

Piercing a OE harness is never good. To do this correctly you would remove the pins and add extra wire to pin.

Seriously. Spend 70k on a truck, only to then intentionally introduce electrical problems down the road.
