Yes but the diagrams on amazon are confusing and i wish they had one that was 120 hz like the one I recommended and you reviewed it and shortly after I bought one after seeing your review of it, maybe a HDMI splitter with 5, 2.1 inputs and two outputs for two monitors and two dedicated outputs for Eark as one can go to a receiver and one for a soundbar when you don't necessarily need the oomph but want some extra sound .
Steve! I have 3 TVs with HDMI ARC and a soundbar with HDMI ARC. I want to be able to switch the AUDIO between the 3 tvs to the soundbar. It's for football season. We have a mancave with 3 tvs. Usually, we have 1 tv audio on at a time and my husband mutes other tvs, then switches audio between tvs depending on what game he wants to hear.
What device switcher could we buy that can do this?

My only issue, why have input 1 at the front? The rest of the input and output at the back? For someone like me who likes go have a setup nice and neat, all input and output ports should be at the back.

I have an HDMI switcher so I could add my DVD player. I think you showed a remote control at the beginning of the video. Mine does not have it. It would be nice not to have to get up to manually select which output. I did not know that is available when I bought mine, so I went cheap. I don't need to flop back and forth to watch DVDs much, so it is not the end of the world.

I have tried 2 different Orei 401MV & the 602 devices on my Samsung QN55. The device has power the tv shows an unknown device is connected but says the device is off. Any suggestions?
Some of the reviews stated they didn't get batteries with the product, sound didn't pass through, and/or the automatic switching didn't work. I have had 2 similar devices, and haven't had any problem with auto-switching or sound issues. They only worked with HDMI 1.4, I believe.

It’s not really possible because EDID it has to reconfigure the signal that’s why it blinks
Hello, I have a tribute soundbar that I want to use with a android device that doesn't have bluetooth and has only one HDMI port. and I want to watch content on pc monitor with only one HDMI input as well. would your device work this way: we connect the android device to ur device input and ur device then output two hdmi, one for monitor for viewing and one for soundbar for sound?
Great video! Question just to confirm I understand how to connect a soundbar to this…I have a PlayStation, DIRECTV box, and HDMI ARC soundbar. I would plug the PlayStation into input 2, DIRECTTV into input 3, soundbar into input 4(arc), and the TV into the output portion of the HDMI switcher box. What input on the TV would I use to connect the switcher box to the tv? Would it be a standard HDMI port, or would it need to be the HDMI ARC port on the TV?

Hi Steve, I have the Bose Tv Speaker but unfortunately my streaming device doesn't support HDMI-ARC. It only has an AUX port . That's how I connect the soundbar to the Streaming device. So here's my question. Does this OREI switcher allow the soundbar to play audio from the streaming device via the HDMI-ARC cable? Thanks in advance!
It doesn’t have to as long as your TV does. I haven’t heard of a ARC streaming device

Question. With this hdmi device, can I turn it off when not in use? Or, should it stay powered? I have my present hdmi device set up to shut off when not in use. I’ve had no problems doing it this way.

Hi Steve. Can this be connected to an AV receiver (Onkyo nr 828), that only upscales 4k /30 and does not support HDR? Trying to connect my Fire Cube Tv to it. Currently connected directly to Tv with HDMI . Receiver ARC to eARC on tv. Thanks, would appreciate your reply before i make the purchase.

@@TechSteve Thanks for replying, Steve. The receiver is connected to the tv via ARC. The fire cube is connected to the tv via HDMI, only get 4K resolution this way. The receiver is capable of 4k passthrough but no HDR. Either sacrifice resolution or audio quality.

Can I use this to run audio from my PC to my Sound-bar. I use the Display port for my monitor and would like to run audio through the HDMI (motherboard) to my sound-bar using this device.

Based on what you’ve shown here and in a much earlier video, if I’m using the new Apple TV 4K as my main device to play audio through a pair of HomePod minis (with a separate subwoofer), can I use the arc on the switcher to play the PS5 audio through the HomePod minis too??
Since the latest Apple TV4K has an arc hdmi port. I’m basically going for a super clean home theatre look and the subwoofer adds a lot of meat to the HomePod minis already. I just want to get my PS5 and HD Blu-ray player to play sound through the HomePod minis and then all is well. Thanks!
You would have to test, i don't guess on questions unless i've done it myself.
