Bro this video was right on time. I’m getting my 49” Ultrawide monitor and I was wondering how I’m going to hook up my MacBook, Work computer, Series X and PS5 but I think this will solve my problem!
Looks like a lot of people might need one this year. Only Samsung and LG have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. All others only 2 ports. This is what I've seen on the other TH-cam channels.

Currently my earc soundbar hw-q850a is connected to my tu7000 earc hdmi port. Should this bk401 switch go into the soundbar hdmi input port or the other tv port?

Hey! I'm thinking of using one of these to move between a 1440p 144 hz monitor and a 4k tv. I've been researching in my free time all week, even contacting a few companies who seemed to indicate that these matrix units limit either framerate or entirely don't work with 1440p monitors. Do you have a clear answer on this for this unit? Thanks!
Great video, couple questions. 1. Does it switch seamlessly through the inputs or does it dip to black. And If I have a computer connected will it lose synch when I switch to another input? Thanks !
Hi Steve good video again, but really would like to have seen how long the inputs take to switch from the click of the button in real time. As some take 7-10 seconds to switch.
I definitely am going to get this,I have a Sony x85k my hdmi 3 is earc and I had the Xbox series s plugged into that and the ps5 into hdmi 4,problem is for some weird reason if I used the Xbox and then turned it off it made the sound go away to the ps5 but if I turned it back on the sound came back.
@@TechSteve I only found one other person that had the same issue just on a different model Sony tv he just ended up returning the tv for a samsung,I have the Xbox in hdmi 2 now so no 12ohz 4k and the ps5 in hdmi 4 and that seems to be working without trouble
@Tech Steve I have a Samsung 85 In Au800 TV, Vamvo Projector that supports 4k, LG SLM4R (8E) sound bar, PS 5 & EDID 4K ULTRHD 4X2 4K60HZ 1BG HIGHSPEED MATRIX Switcher. I need the correct way to hook it up. I know it's not right because it's not functioning like it used to. TV, PS5 and sound bar is new. Configurations are not right, I'm just so frustrated. From the start how would you hook it up? I have a PS3 and BLU RAY PLAYER hooked up to the switcher as well. Probably will take the player out and replace with a firestick. It's like each device fights over the sound bar or no sound comes out. If I wanna use just the projector I have to have the TV on @ the same time now and there are too many buttons to press...input/function etc. Please help. I can send pictures if you have Instagram.
Sounds like you need a HDMI switcher with eARC and dual video outputs. I haven’t seen that one. Watch this video you can try to add a video splitter but it make get messy far as loosing picture and you will get some lag th-cam.com/video/drJWXBmtWAg/w-d-xo.html

Hello Steve, how should the earc soundbar be connected and what type of hdmi cables work best? The soundbar was left out of the diagram.
The Soundbar connects to your tv, this adapter doesn’t support earc, certified HDMI 2.1

It seems like the vocal audio was really low throughout the video. Then all of a sudden the 'Tech Steve' at the very end was quite loud.

That’s what CEC does thru the HDMI cables
Steve does the box works with HDMI-CEC? Meaning when I turn off the PS5 or Apple TV my tv will turn off as well? Thanks

This is pretty fantastic, hopefully this means we can see a 4x2 version of this in the future, I need 2 output for my setup.
This issue is when you add 2 outputs it gets messy on the video
