Night Wanderer game is based on book series "Lord of the ice garden" by Jarosław Grzędowicz. I recommend reading it, nothing special but pretty enjoyable.
Half-Life 3 will only be good if it has 2 things. Gordon Freeman as the protag, and Black Mesa Research Facility. A time portal from Apature Sciance could send old Freeman back to set things right. You would navagate the Facility once again just after the cascade to stop the invasion. With G-man's small amount of help, Freeman will finally save Earth and the human race. Alex can stay at home.
I prefer 3rd person RPGs, so I can see how cool my character looks as I find better armor etc, plus 1st person combat usually feels janky as hell for some reason
