Hey yeah the bag is ambidextrous, the top attachment point in center near the 'pouch' shown stays put but if your looking at the back of the bag...in the bottom of each of the 2 corners there is a flap tucked into the side/bottom/back of the bag that can be pulled out, unclip the carry strap from the unpreferred side.....clip it to preferred side....and then tuck 'unpreferred side' back into the bottom back corner of bag. lol hopefully this made sense. thanks
I've looking at getting this bag to compliment my rush 24 . I have read a fair amount of reviews on different forums and most say they like the bag , but is uncomfortable to wear . How do you find wearing the bag yourself . Enjoyed your vid .
Like the bag and comfortable for sure. Only downside is sometimes need more space if going on a trip etc so if you have the 24 I’d say that’s a near perfect compliment setup with both. Thanks.
It puts a lot of pressure on your Rhomboideus muscle. That muscle group has 2 major trigger points that can spasm severely if overworked. If you're carrying light documents and equipment, the bag works great. However if you want to carry books, firearms, ammunition, look elsewhere. Due to it's design, the bag also tends to slide and swing around on your back. It's impossible to get good retention during strenuous activities. It was cool to one-strap in the 90's. It's more practical to two-strap.
@@travelinman482 Listen BRO, I carried one of these for years. the bag is pretty heavy all by itself. Those little pockets and compartments add up. After a while, I decided looking like a tactical hipster wasn't worth the pain on my left shoulder, and switched to the Rush 12.

While this is the coolest looking Rush bag 5.11 makes, it has poor weight distribution. I carried it as my EDC/carry-on bag for 5 years. I would routinely carry sunglasses, keys, pens, steel handcuffs, spare magazine, tools, travel documents, a change of clothes, and my gaming device. My last use was on an outing to Zion national park. A day's hiking and climbing created a serious hotspot on my shoulder. Extended carry could actually pinch a nerve. The bag is relatively heavy even empty. The Rush 12 is a far superior option in a comparably sized package.

Yeah great bags but they are expensive, even here in the US, but they are really tough and durable.
