I have +2K (thousand) rounds through the latest Glock 43X Gen5 MOS with the Shield Arms Gen 3 S15 (15 Round) Magazines. Have never had any problems, malfunctions, or other issues. It does what it is supposed to do, and it does it very well. The great advantage of this model is the ability to easily "transition" magazine capacity from OEM 10-Round Standard to Shield Arms Gen3 S15 Magazines - WHEN & IF, You Are Moving Between States/Jurisdictions With Magazine Capacity Bans. (i.e. Between Maryland - DC - Virginia). And the profile of the Glock 43x Gen5 MOS Slim is "ultra" concealable. One can easily carry this for 8 -10 hours per day and not even really notice it.
I have several Gen 2 S15 Shield Arms mags with their proprietary mag release. I had a few hiccups during qualifications as my 43X is my off-duty firearm. I went to the PSA mags and personally found them to be better in my particular firearm; however, I would still on occasion have a FTF. I've never experienced an issue whatsoever running factory 10 round mags, so even though I'd prefer 15 rounds, I'll take 10+1 with factory mags for the reassurance and peace of mind knowing God forbid I need to go to work, things will function correctly. Please Glock, SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE and just design, manufacture and release a high capacity G43X / G48 magazine!!
They have a loyal following for a reason! Dependability at the forefront. A lot of great pistols out there just comes down to personal preference Thanks for watching
NO ONE EVER takes into account the fact that 10 rounds are what SOME PEOPLE are restricted to making this perfect for restricted states i hate when people say yeah i dont like it only because of the mag cap and actually make it a bad review as a result at lest this guy didnt do that here
I went with the Hellcat pro,. It has factory 15 and 17 rd mags. and just as small For Glock you cant beat the 26 of the 19. My off duty backup is a G26
I live in California so my first Glock is a 17 Gen 3. But I am now keeping my eyes open to see if I can find a G43X MOS that’s on consignment. I’d also like a G19X.
Stay blessed, Kevin ... love your holsters and can't wait to order a few more. That Glock is a great gun! I love the Holosun 407k green and I chose the Ameriglo Spartan night sights ... great set up
Great content Kevin and I agree with you 100% the Glock 43X MOS is the way to go for conceal carry ,and your Holsters are awesome as well I purchased 3 of them so far ,keep up the great content and great Holsters young man
I really like my 43x. It’s all decked out and ready to go. But if I need to grab one Glock and trust the shot it would be my 43. Just can’t let her go lol.
Perfect for the states that keep there finger on ya lol. Not perfect for open states like it should be lol All joking aside you are correct for those unfortunately have those laws
I had a lot of issues with the Shield Gen 2 mags and I was using the steel mag release. Switched to the PSA Micro Dagger mags and they have been great through 2000+ rounds through my 43X and 48.
What ammo are you using. Since I’ve switched my magazine to the Shield Arm and changed the magazine release. Seems the only ammo I can shoot out of it is practice ammo. Anything else and I have problems with the gun
I hear everyone saying to change out the mag release to metal- which is understandable, however, they all say when you do change it out for metal, you will damage the polymer mags- I find that odd because I see extended mag releases as an option for any pistol. I have replaced it on my G17, G20 and still use polymer mags and never had any mag wear out. I have a few thousand thru my G17.
I would only switch the mag release to metal is you are going to use the metal mags. The metal mag release will catch and wear on polymer mags in most cases that I have seen.
Have you tried the PSA mini dagger magazines you don’t need to change the mag release button I brought two for my Glock 48 MOS. I’ve had a few failures to eject unfortunately, but everyone else seems to have good luck with them. I’ve also had some dead triggers on my Glock 48 don’t know what that’s all about took it to my local FFL and they said the gun look fine and to keep shooting it
I have tried a few of those mags and had some issues unfortunately. So I stick with what I’m confident in and have proven to be reliable for me personally. Thanks for watching
@@Constitutionalist1791 I shot some more and my slide locked shut with a live round. I sent to Glock about a week ago and am currently waiting to see what they have to say
Respectfully Bad advice to use shield mags. They are inconsistent when you need it, you need it without exception. In my experience they are notoriously inconsistent. Sorry but that is my experience. Carry an extra 10 round mag instead.
Thats why you train with your equipment and see what works for you or not. We have had ZERO issues with them in 2500 rounds or more. Does that mean there are not bad ones out there....Not at all. However the ones we got have proven themselves over 2500 rounds. I have had bad Glock original mags, however that does not mean I wont use Glock mags. Anything you carry you should train with your exact setup ( including mags ) until they have proven themselves. There is not a pistol on the market that is 100% ever, so train with it enough you know what you are comfortable with and your setup
I have same exact setup with only 2 additions. The PMM comp which is awesome and makes barrel flush with light and then the Antimatter flip out thumb rest. With those 2 added the recoil is almost non existent. And the g43x and g48 usually use the same size holster so the little extra length is negligible.
Those shield arms mags will get you killed in a self defense situation. The 43x isn’t designed to run those steel mags. Run stock mags and use the shield arms mags for the range
I run the shield mags full time. Gen 2 and 3's. After 3000 plus rounds, they have performed flawlessly. YOU HAVE TO USE A METAL RELEASE! or you will have issues. Those who say they are unreliable, are using stock release.
@@timlassabe890right. plus if you EVER GET A JAM due to the mag , theyll replace it if it keeps happening. they did it for me with 6 mags and they all work flawlessly lol i love them things dude just missing out

Had 1 4 2 yrs now. Light!! Thats the reason 4 me. You can where it on a sweat pants band👍👍. ❤19 2 tho. But 2 heavy with 15 in the maG. Pro mags, R junk No. Use only single stack glock mags. Its your life👋🦃🇺🇸🦃
I only have one Glock. The 43x MOS is it.
Same

PSA 15 rd micro dagger mags are best, no need to swap out mag release.
BINGO...That's what I bought

Just picked up a 43x. Feels like it grew up in a sand box compared to my 19x. The 19x is about the best imo, but I’ll be using the 43x for CC.

Yeah you are right, unfortunately some states only allow 10 rounds so you are stuck with that.

Why a lot of people do not realize or talk about it…. Many states have 10 rd mag caps. That makes the 10 rd glock perfect.

I had a lot of issues with the Shield Gen 2 mags and I was using the steel mag release. Switched to the PSA Micro Dagger mags and they have been great through 2000+ rounds through my 43X and 48.
Sorry to hear that. I have had zero issues with mine. Thanks for watching!
Same, ended up throwing away my Shield mags
Mine is the exact opposite sadly. Doesnt like psa mags but runs perfect with SA mags. No idea why
I am a proud Glock 19 fanboy but it doesn’t conceal the best when aiwb. Im hoping the 43x will fix that 🤞🤞🤞. Thanks for sharing!

43x with psa slick dagger micro magazine over 2k rounds no issues, stock mag release so can use oem mag still

43x edc but still love my g17

I don’t like after market parts for any Glock. I’m not going to war so 10 rounds is good for me.

Let's write to Glock via social and email to make an extended factory mag for G43x, public pressure might do the trick
