I have a 43 that is a good gun. I bought a 43x recently that is a great gun. No need for more capacity. I’m not going into battle, I just want to keep a threat off me. I would never even consider aftermarket mags. 11 in the gun, with an extra mag and I’m confident in any situation. Thank you for this video
I have two 43XMOS pistols. Love them. I wasn’t a Glock guy and I bought the 43X. The first thing that I liked was the fit. The is perfect in my hands and the slimness of the frame is really nice. And of course it shoots beautifully.
Got to love the 43x. I have carried it about a year and it’s been a Gem. Lightweight and I love the grip it’s perfect. Using OEM everything. Internals and Mags. 10 rods seems like enough. Most may say not. But the average encounter takes 3-4 rounds. I think 10 is enough to suffice and carrying an extra mag. If I can’t hit my target in 20 rounds. I don’t need to be carrying period. lol great video. Definitely subbing.
Awesome video. I love mine. Apex trigger, PMM micro comp, Holosun eps, shield arms 15 round gen3 mags, tlr7 sub, and talon pro grips. Amazing conceal carry even with gym shorts.
the trigger change is a must on the 43X in my opinion. All the other stuff I did does make it shoot so much better, but not needed. The trigger though, was a MUST change!
Nick, I’m in the same boat. I have recently sold, and traded a 43X MOS, and a 43X with Ameriglo Bold sights. I have seller, and trader’s remorse. I’m sure I will have another one in the future. I still have four of the fifteen round Shield Arms mags. I know several people had issues with the Shield Arms mags. Fortunately I had zero issues with mine. Bought my first one and sold it to get a G48 because I thought the longer barrel would be better for recoil but then sold it due to it carrying less comfortable than the 43X. I just bought another 43x and will not be selling it. Its such a great gun.

💯 agree, I love my 43x , topped mine with a XS orange big dot and I’ve learned to shoot with both eyes open, great sight for trying to see with old eyes
i started with glocks and then own walthers, HK's, sigs, smiths, etc. all are great guns but i still kept all my glocks and carry a 19x or glock 45 . i am a high volume shooter and like the simplicity of glocks for maintenance and the aftermarket support.
I been told people either love the glock or they outright hate it don't know why, I've never owned a glock they work no matter what you put them through. Great Channel
I like owning a Glock or two at all times. If anything bad happens in the world it’s safe to assume there’s a collection of Glock magazines in every other house haha
The shield plus such a good gun for the price. You can find them used for dirt cheap. I got the 43x I love it. Fits my hand well and I love how slim it is. I live in a state where there’s a 10 capacity limit. So the shield plus 10 round mag my pinky hangs over hangs. Both great options.
That’s a great point. I’m not a fan of how my pinky misses the grip with the Shield ten round magazine. However, we live in a place where there’s no limit. The 43X is fantastic.
Bought a 48 during the 2021 chaos because I couldn’t find a 43x anywhere. Sold that because I wasn’t into appendix carry yet and it printed too much. Carried a 26 until recently and now carrying up front comfortably made me miss that extra grip to grab. I bought one of the last non-MOS 43x and it’s on me now. 😊 A friend has done the exact same thing you have with a few Sigs mixed in. Always go back to the 43x.

I think the crazy part. Watching you shoot this. It's thinner, it's a half inch shorter barrel and shoots flatter than the PDP. I'm wanting to try the G48 myself. Also Congrats on 3.5 subs!
The 43X is a great little pistol. It’s not flashy so it gets a bad wrap and ten rounds is plenty in my mind. I’ve never shot a 48 but the 43X is fantastic. I’d carry it way before I could carry the chunky PDP.
The Glock 43X is an excellent choice for conceal carry, if capacity is an issue for someone then check out Shield Arms S15 Mags along with the Mag catch, you get 15 rounds in a slimline firearm, great video young man, keep it strong
My wife owns a rose gold 43X, I've enjoyed shooting it. She carries it over the R7 Mako because of the weight and shootability, but we're both more accurate with the Kimber than the Glock.
December 3rd… I saw a video today talking about other carry pieces and they said Springfield was about to drop something soon that would change the game.
You should really look at a psa micro dagger if you love the 43x/48. They're everything gloch should have done, plus you can swap all the internals to oem glock if you want. I personally love the p.c. shield plus and ditched my 43x for micro dagger slide and sct frame. As i said though p.c. shield + has stolen my heart fn reflex comes 2nd lol
@@averagemarksman I have 2 psa magazines and have been using them for over a year and so far no issues I am a huge fan of Canik almost pulled the trigger on the MC9LS. But overall happy with my 43X and considering they’re practically the same size, I ended up ordering a Bul armory ax Tomahawk Compact. Almost went with the a PDPF. Looking for something more Glock 19 sized. That seems to be where the trend is heading.
Glock has proven that innovation isn’t important over and over again for the last decade. They still sell more guns than every company that makes a Glock clone. The only people who care about innovation are hobbyist. We don’t make up enough of the market to make a difference.
Man what a point…. When you hear those hard as nails military dudes so bluntly saying “just Glock, all I need” or similar saying, and their shooting backs it up, is one of the main reasons I even consider one over the shield plus. The way you said us as hobbyist makes so much sense.

Those improvement really are all personal preference though. Someone will always want a different version. Keeping it simple lets people make their own choices.
I seen a comment the other day that said shot show 25’ ram jet and afterburner for this gun. If that happens it will blow this gun out of the water. It was just a random comment but I could see radian doing it!
I bought my 43xmos around the same time I bought my shield plus. I prefer carrying the shield plus because the grip has a better texture and the shape fits my hand better. But I don't think I'll ever get rid of the 43x. Actually that's not true. I might sell my 43x to get a different 43x that has some cool design, there's one called the mcfly that I'm interested in.
Hello sir, I’m a first time shooter/gun owner…I’m looking for a handgun that’d be great for all around self/home defense but is still optimal for edc…which is best between the 43x mos or the Mc9L?
I still don’t understand why Glock continues to use those cheap plastic sights. The good thing is they are easy to replace and tons of aftermarket options.
I can't be the only person here that can hit consistently at distance, up close, and all points in between with the stock sights on a 43x. In fact, it's difficult not to do.
@ It’s not so much the sight picture that’s the problem(it’s not ideal, though), it’s the construction. The plastic sights will eventually break or become loose.
Nick, I used to carry the 43X and it is a great defense gun, but there are so many better options for the same size carry gun like the Shadow System CR920P, and the XMacro(same size but 17 round capacity).
I agree but the grip on an XMacro is at least 1/2” longer which could make it tougher for some people to conceal. The extra ammo also makes it considerably heavier if being carried in basketball shorts or sweat pants.
Just shot the 43x and loved it. I have the pro and macro and the 43x is my favorite 😍 Just something about Glock that clicks with me.
All three of them are great pistols. I enjoy the 43X as well.

An Apex trigger would really improve the pistol. I might have to make that happen.

Aftermarket support is a major bonus. It’s also nice knowing you can get magazines at any gun store in the country.

I love the G43x and also upgraded to the 15 rounds magazine. You can also upgrade the 15 round magazine to a 20 rounds as well if you choose to do so.

I’ve had the R7 Mako in my hands several times and the new carbon version. I just don’t know if I like it.

I prefer the 48. The 48 and the Fuse have been my go to lately. Similar in size.
I have a hard time carrying the Fuse because of the grip length. I hit it on everything when it’s on my hip. But it’s a fantastic pistol.
Sold my Glock 43x for the Shield Plus Pro. Much better for concealment, I love the different capacity options, and natural point of aim.

Last round hold hasn’t always lined up on mine for some reason but it’s still new and maybe the follower isn’t following. 😅
TBH , I don't see it to be snappiest in your hand. But in many other videos they describe it as snappy

The texture on the Shield Plus is better. I just looked up the Mcfly - the grip texture looks nice.

Can't get over the grip angle.
I've tried several glocks at the range but never owned one.
I have the grip angle issue on the 19 but not the 43X. It being thinner may make the difference for me.
