- In this video we finish walking through this years fabulous Conroe Fall Swap Meet. We check out the beautiful classics in the car corral and show everyone all of the interesting things that we bought during this years meet. The Suzuki looks like a 1980 because 1979 had a different rear fender. I have a 1979 RM 125 I restored lmao death trap on wheels. 😊

Ok I was confused why you were getting the year 1981 Corvette confused and telling your boys Hair Hair Metal and maybe later on in that car there may have been hair metal but I drove around in a 1981 Corvette some and hair metal was not a part We still had straight up Hard Rock n Roll Rush, Van Halen, Scorpions . Triumph, Black Sabbath Dio Years, Ozzy Randy Rhodes, Journey, REO, Foreigner so on but not hair metal yet but you get a A Pass because you identified as a Aggie and that explains
Ha! Thanks for the pass! I don't know why I always associate early 80s Corvettes with hair metal. I think of Camaros and Trans Ams when I think of harder 80s rock. Unfortunately I only remember the 80s in small snippets.
@@downsouthjunking8180 Oh I enjoy watching You and your Boy’s videos and believe those guys know the cars they’re looking for. I know Really The 80’s is so associated with that time and it’s funny I came out of late 70s into early 80s and I was in the thick of Classic Rock Journey, Foreigner, Styx,, FEO Speedwagon, Sammy Hagar and The So-called RRHOF which I think is more Rolling Stone Magazine Awards for some reason that magazine just discredited those Bands which was because at that time and these Bands were Hitting Big there just seemed to be such a Jealously and concerts were getting Big and Really These were The Most Incredible Musicians Steve Perry, Brad Delp top to bottom and then there were all these Bands that were there in LA and the late 70s Bands were still Great but Bands like Motley Crue and so many now there were several Bands that were Very Talented the Way the record labels controlled it and also MTV first came out I remember and lot’s of Music you would never heard it was who had videos and with Hair Metal they had to look Good on their Videos and all Hair and then Grunge wanted you to Hate yourself A Very Funny thing Bands like Journey and classic Rock are as Big as ever and it’s 50 years I just laugh because Poison the Biggest Hair Glam Band their Songs were So Weak they reminded me of The Bay City Rollers! About that 81 Corvette there is no doubt I bet You were so right about the Music that was played loud through it is also funny that How Big the Hair Bands made that generation so popular I was at the tail end of about all generations they have they have my class attacked to The Baby Boomers and we don’t have really don’t identify. I was kidding and I really have seen several of your videos I miss those old junk yards and they are going away so fast I would always depend on finding parts growing up back then my first car was a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am 455 4 Speed my oldest Brother got Brand New my Dad got him then the next year he got a new 77 Grand Pix for Graduation he drove the T/A Hard and then my Dad drove till I got my DL and that was a fun car I always find myself watching yours and other peoples videos of junk yards just to remember and I Love you have you boys out there with you I have a Daughter and since concerts were my Hobby from the time she was a a month old she went with us to all by age 6 she had seen her favorite Band Journey 5 times. I Apologize about writing a Book You Guys keep having fun I was curious have you are y’all building any classic cars the prices are insane for just a rust dream that TA Brand New only cost my Dad 6 thousand and my new 82 z28 not to much more

Reminds me of Pomona Swap Meet here in Socal. Omg you can walk for hours and not see it all.
We would love to check out Pomona, but it's so far away from us. The boys have never been to Socal so we might just have to bite the bullet and make the trip. I've been a couple of times and really like it every time I go out there.

They had a blast! Conroe and Pate are their favorite times of the year. It's incredible how fast they are growing up. They're going to be gone before I know it.
