the price of parts and professional services out strips the cost of the build.. its cheaper to buy a finished vehicle. 59 chevs are now pulling over 100k,, 15 years ago $40k
I won't say if these cars were overpriced or not, but I will say this. There were very few cars with "Sold" on them at the end of the swap meet. A few years ago, it was the opposite. You would hardly see cars that didn't have sold written on them.
I hear you. I remember when you could always get cars at swap meets for under a grand. They might have been total rebuilds, but still. The only way I'm able to work on stuff is because we bought so many back in the day we have a lifetime supply of project cars.

lot of project cars there but unfortunately most of them arent going to sell anywhere near what the sellers are asking for them
