  • Hi!
    On this video I am sharing with you my acne journey and skin care routine. From 2019 till 2021 November I battled with severe hormonal cystic acne that would not go away no matter what I tried, I eventually decided to seek medical attention in 2021 and since then my skin has been improving daily.

      It’s the worst thing ever, it knocked my confidence to the floor 😔, please get help from a Dermatologist don’t spend too much money trying to fix it yourself as I did, I wish I went to see a professional earlier.

    Hey sis Jennifer ❤ thank you so much for putting so much effort into your skincare routine video. I just have one question regarding the sunscreen. I’ve tried out many sunscreens before and all of them used to burn my eyes. Does the one you’re using do the same to you? I’m still searching for a sunscreen that works for my face ❤

    • @JennNxumalo
      @JennNxumalo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to go back and double check if it’s still the same sunscreen that I use and yes I still use the same one. It doesn’t sting on the eyes at all, I can even apply it around my eyes and my eyes will be just fine. Highly recommend sunscreen from this brand.

    I was diagnosed in January this year, on that day I cried myself to sleep. Shock was one of the feelings I had. The acne was starting to chow my confidence coz I would be so self conscious.
    My skin is only clearing now, I'm left with the marks.

      I used to cry a lot also not only was it not nice looking at the mirror but it they were so painful. It was a big confidence killer

      I am sorry about that, maybe you have not seen a right Dermatologist who knows what he/she is doing. But if the only thing you have tried is treating your acne yourself then you will not win. You need to see the right professional, that changed my life.

    Can you roughly share the overall cost of the whole treatment, including the consultation fee.

    • @JennNxumalo
      @JennNxumalo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can tell you that the consultation was R1100 monthly and medication was roughly R300 only bcs I was not taking the pills every day which made it affordable. You can times that amount with 12 months.

    • @JennNxumalo
      @JennNxumalo  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I was on the medication for 12 months for that specific reason, my dermatologist said its better I stay on it for a year cs if I stop after 6 months the acne is likely to come back. Also I was not taking the pills every day, I took the pills about 3 times a week.
