Dr. Malik, i’m a 57 yr male in Texas, and i find your vids informative, on both sexes. Thank you for putting in the hours it takes to make these. All my doctors, past & present have been men. That being said and after watching several of your videos, i would feel comfortable with you as my urologist. My thinking, i’m not going to a female doctor about male issues, they don’t know cause they’re a girl. You changed my thought process.

That's because she's not your average doctor, she's the Real Deal
My urologist is a Female and she is wonderful. In fact every female physician, Nurse Practituioner and Physicians Assistant I have been treated by has been excellent. Not sure how you came to the conclusion that "Many" female medical providors just want to be involved with women's health. I think it more likely that due to past issues with male doctors, many women wish to be treated by female doctors vs female doctors just want to treat women.

Too many male doctor knows a lot of female anatomy. Why not at least one woman can do the same?

Fantastic educational video! It saddens me that most people don't understand their own bodies or the bodies / anatomy of the opposite sex. I think that it is a major failing of our education system. Please keep up the good work! Hopefully, many teenagers are learning about these things when back in my day this information was unobtainable. PS Although, like most men, I am uncomfortable learning about women's anatomy and biological functions such as their periods, it would be a great service to educate us all about the female anatomy as well. (perhaps you have already and I am unaware but I will look for this information. TY)
You mentioned frenulum but neglect to mention it's usually completely removed during unnecessary routine infant circumcision (RIC). No child should have their body mutilated against their will and without their consent. RIC is 100% unnecessary and only when an individual turns 18 and can decide for themselves regarding the risks should they be allowed to make their own informed consensual decision.
At 18 what state of information the teenager has except what he might have learned from culture there... Let the doctors do what they are doing... Porn has only raised interest in uncircumcised and such things...

It's funny how people seem to have ignorance of their bodies when I always thought curiosity would compel you to find out these things. Sure after initially doing so you probably can't be to expected have a perfect recollection of all you discover but at least a lasting understanding of the functions related to it. Great video and perfectly described Rena.
As someone who has testicular issues including no Testosterone production, I always find your videos fascenating to refresh my memory or continue learning. Thank you for your videos.
Keep in mind that many doctors are unwilling to prescribe testosterone medications. That's currently what I am dealing with as a 72 year old man who has lost one testicle for medical reasons and has ED and reduced libido. The doctors don't care.

The frenulum is one of the most important parts of the male genital anatomy, but circumcision usually destroys it completely.
My frenulum was removed with laser many years ago when I was 18 after I had sex with my ex girlfriend and had torn the damn thing. They told me it was too short and sex after would be even better because sensitivity would go down a little bit and so it is. Everything works fine and smoothly and the feeling is great. Girls don’t even notice it because it’s no circumcision.
I'll save for tomorrow! It's a bit late here.
A few days ago I went to the urologist I had pain when touching an area in the right teste...since always, but I never dared to go to the doctor.
So I finally went and he did an eco and it was all fine, so he told me it's just an exagerated cremaster reflex. The thing is that when the reflex happens by any other way it doesn't hurt. Only when I touch one exact area.
So I guess I'll never know. But at least the eco was clean so I guess I'm fine.
You are worth it. I didn't know about half of those places inside. Thanks.

Two questions: 1) What is the function of the Cowper glands?
2) I'm intact but my foreskin tends to retract by itself most of the time, especially while I'm sleeping. Also, after a shower if I try to pull it over my glans, it retracts back again. I don't have any problems with this and have never had any infections, etc. But when I was young, it was quite tight and didn't start retracting till much later which I heard is normal. Also, I had to slowly retract it completely when I was older; was a little bit raw at first but after couple days back to normal.

Most men know more about the parts and function of an automobile or truck than they do their own male anatomy.
She's beautiful and she talks about the male anatomy like women talk about fashion or shoes. She is so educationally informative for all ages. I highly recommend this video for young teenage guys who need to learn about their bodies just as they're becoming sexually active.

I sadly had my large intestine and rectum was removed when I was a young teen because of ulcerative colitis. So im trying to find a way to reach tho prostae for prostate stimulation, any suggestions?
van buren sounding rods are made for that but sounding in general is not for everyone. either you like it or can even bring yourself to try it ;)
great video! i'm a 60 year old man positive biopsy for prostate cancer. i'm waiting for a surgery date. 2 questions: 1) i've seen xrays that my seminal vesicles are fully calcified - solid bone. any thoughts on what causes that? 2) would you consider doing a video on penile implants? asking for a friend, lol!

I understand, from lectures in Grand Rounds; urology, that the risk of death from a prostate TRUS biopsy is between 2 to 6%, from sepsis. I can see the risk, since it involves taking a needle and passing it into the rectum and then into the prostate, then taking the dirty needle and doing that 11 more times without cleaning the needle a single time. This seems like a poor practice. In fact, looking at the Mayo clinic's website on prostate cancer, they advised they get the samples differently reducing the risk and getting better coverage. So, it is now safer to climb mout Everest than getting a prostate biopsy! A lecturer in one presentation said that, "if you are performing TRUS biopsies, you are killing patients." What gives the continued practice of TRUS biopsies? Is it a money problem are what? Thanks for your comments.
