    I remember the first time I experienced this was in high school. It worried me greatly, and hurt so much. It was like my boys were in a vice, and I remember there being a sensation of pressure. Luckily it did go away a couple of hours later. I’m glad someone is talking about this now, because the consensus was that blue balls didn’t exist when I was younger.

      I think the skepticism around this comes from shutting down people who use this (very real) pain as an excuse to pressure their partners to help them complete /: So people overcompensated and went, "That's not painful, you're making it up," instead of, "It is painful, but that doesn't mean you get to pressure somebody else to fix it. Do it yourself."

    Thank you for discussing a problem that should be discussed more often and taken a little more seriously. While it may not be dangerous it can be very painful and frightening for a young man. And maybe more significantly, it can be humiliating to try to get help if they don't understand what's happening.

    I’ve had this condition at least 3 separate times, so I speak from experience. The condition caused my scrotum to be a deep color red, tight and radiate a lot of heat. When I finally had a release, it was like turning on a spigot. Afterward was the worst pain in the testicles I ever experienced, just them resting on the mattress was agony. I think it’s the over pressure from the congestion of semen stretching the tissues is what causes the pain.

    • @xdeathcon
      @xdeathcon ปีที่แล้ว +9

      It's absolutely not the semen. Balls just make the sperm, and the prostate holds the semen which is the majority of volume. It's much more likely it's some kind of blood flow thing with either an excess of blood or something like that.

    • @hyacinthbucket3803
      @hyacinthbucket3803 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@xdeathcon After doing some research, I cannot find any info on semen backing up into the vas deferens. So it must have to do with the prolonged blood engorgement of the testicles.

      @@hyacinthbucket3803 Ive experienced exactly what you’re describing. Long story short, I was edging for hours and multiple times I came close to ejaculating. When I finally let myself finish, I got such an intense pain in my scrotum that I never felt before. It was so sensitive that even resting it against my inner thighs or the toilet seat was super painful. Even just lightly touching would feel like I flicked it hard. I had to get up slowly and get on all fours and just let my stuff hang. It felt much better when I did that, but the worst of the pain lasted about 5 to 10 minutes. It continued to be sore for over an hour or two iirc. Never edged for that long ever again. Found better use of my time instead of watching corn all day.

      @@hyacinthbucket3803 Researching this stuff is really difficult. The way nerves work in that area is also weird, so you may get swelling in one side and pain in another. The swelling and pain may not even be in the vas deferens, it could be in the lymph vessels trying to clear the sperm. There's also not much funding in this kind of research, since there's not much money to be made.

    I suffered this once or twice as a teenager after long make out sessions with my girlfriend. It was a similar sensation to getting kicked in the testicles where there's that dull, aching, nauseated feeling. I thought it was because of wearing tightie whities and tight jeans, which didn't give the genitals the room to "grow." Not being sexually active at the time, the clothes stayed on. I think the term comes from "black & blue", describing a bruise, which is what it feels like happened to your testicles. Didn't Bobbie Vinton have a hit with "Blue Vulva"? Oh, wait....it was "Blue Velvet." My bad.

    The turm I had heard for this was lovers balls. I am 53 and have had problems with my testicles swapping sides. This happens about once a month. Occasionally, my left testicle rotates 180 degrees. I have always fixed the problem myself and until 2 years ago thought it was a normal thing. The blue balls/lovers balls problem is something that I have daily, but as I have never had sex or been in any relationship, ejeculation is something that I have never been able to do. 2 years ago I could not get my testicle to untwist so I had to go to a hospital and that was when I found out that my problems were not normal, the doctor discovered that I don't have any divider in my scrotum and the research she had seen suggests that the blue balls is created when the testicles produce more sperm than they can hold so unless the build up is somehow released the pressure causes pain. During stimulation the testicles start to produce more sperm than normal, so that extra build up, if unreleased causes pain. There are still more unanswered questions about the human body than answered questions, but medical science is still a relatively new field and as our technology advances, we discover more about ourselves. We humans are not as intelligent or as technologically advanced as we like to think we are and if we don't cause our own extinction, we have the potential to understand everything about everything.

    I remember experiencing such an intense, worrying pain in my testicles for the first time after being a couple of hours in the presence of an attractive girl, that I asked my friend do drive me to a night-time health clinic!
    It was difficult to walk or to even stand or sit with my legs not spread open.

    Yes Rena, I had the displeasure once, and my balls were actually bluish-purple. Not lying. It's real. I was young and got extremely worked up over a couple hours with my girlfriend with no release. The next day, it was painful to walk and I checked out my balls because they hurt so much. Swear to you- bluish purple. If anyone thinks blue-balls is just a phrase, then they haven't lived it. Thankfully this condition was corrected the next evening ;-)

    This was a much needed and well done video. I'm an old man now and get very frustrated when I see young men trying to convince their girlfriends that this is a dangerous thing for guys and they NEED to have sex. I've probably ruined a few relationships because I have no problem calling these guys out for lying. If the girl is not ready to go all the way, pressuring her into it will just make her resent you in the long run. Fortunately, I had a father who was willing to explain to me that it would go away and wouldn't do permanent damage. But not everybody is that fortunate, and videos like this can be helpful to young people. Keep up the good work.

    The first time I felt blue balls was when I was a teenager, after making out with my gf for an extended period. They felt sore and similar to being bruised. She could tell I was in discomfort, but was really unsure why. It wasn't until later that a friend has mentioned the term blue balls that I realized why this was happening. Luckily for me things progressed past the make out sessions and it wasn't an issue any longer.

    I had a case of blue balls a few years ago, and man, it did hurt. I was in my early 30s and never had experienced anything of the sort. It was sort of scary. The worse part is because it really has to go when it has to go, if it doesn't, and you manage to sleep over it, the next day, you are in pain my friend, and then you discover it sort of gelified and clogs all your tubes and you think it may be too late to solve the problem (which adds even more panic).... When it unclogs, the feeling of relief is unbelievable.. but just don't try to get to that point. The lower abdominal pains still last a couple of hours. So: 1) You should masturbate if things really do not go the way your body expected. 2) Girls, if you do not want to do it, do not ask to "just cuddle" on the first night together, or chat the whole night in your panties.... either do it and then chat (whatever), or just kiss and goodbye.

    The concensus now seems to be that it's not dangerous, however if men neglect to ejaculate for prolonged periods it can lead to an infection called epididymitis. By prolonged periods, I mean months to even years of not releasing tension. Since most men will never experience that it is not normally dangerous.

    This is the first time in my life that I hear about Blue Vulva. Will be that females never complain about it? I wonder how many more learned about it today, both males and females

    • @cecilycook5592
      @cecilycook5592 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Women deal with a lot of various pains and sensations down there. I mean our uterus legitimately sheds its entire lining of cells and blood every month. Many times sex causes cramping or pain. Then there is endometriosis which is more painful than a normal period. Child birth. Lightning crotch. And much more. Women are more used to pains, more likely to seek out help and information, so no, we typically dont complain as much about what all goes on down there. We just say we are in pain and leave us tf alone while we treat it with what works for us lol. And yes, like men, some experience it and some dont. Some know of blue vulva and some dont until it happens to them. Either way, no we dont talk about it much, specially when we are always seen as nagging, over dramatic, and whiny as it is. We "man up" (oh the irony of that statement), and move tf on. Doing our normal daily life while dealing with the pain since our pain isnt only sexually related and comes on randomly at any point of the day.

    I’m 42 years old and had this throughout my life. I often have problems finishing, which most men think would be great, but it’s not. Most women don’t enjoy a 30-45 min session and the pain I get lasts for hours after if I don’t finish. Bloody crippling. Often doesn’t go until I can actually orgasm.

Of course they're not doing so to be rude, they are trying to protect people from being coerced into something they don't want to do. Blue balls are not an excuse for coresive behavior, but it is a real experience.
