  • After a two-week suspension, Dr Reese realises she's unable to properly connect with her patients to figure out a diagnosis.

    Sarah couldn't hang in psychology and i don't blame her bc clearly she doesn't handle patients well like that and i feel dr charles kinda pushed her into the deep end a bit

    Dr. Charles repeated the wrong drug, she ordered respirator, he said respiradol, wrong drug. I only noticed beca. OK, she corrected it on the second pass.

      @@koberalice I see that; I typed the comment right when this vid came out and it reminded me of Reese, but yeah, in this episode she had a hard time, but I think she's good at what she does, she just needs to work through her paranoia

    Why was Reece on probation?

      Reece had gotten suspended due to her PTSD from the shooting that ended Season 2. After the shooting she brought pepper spray to work in order to defend herself, she then used the spray on a patient and was suspended for two weeks. That's why she says "I did my two weeks, I'm going to therapy, I shouldn't be afraid anymore" because her fear of being harmed/ killed caused her to lose her job (for a brief period).

      She was a resident, she was still learning. Literally doctors complain 24/7 about residents, even the greatest resident in history will look incompetent to normal doctors

      I don’t know the full details of HIPAA but I assume since the patient was unable to consent to treatment, the sister as next-of-kin got power of attorney. It wasn’t in violation of HIPAA since the sister needed to be informed to consent to the patient’s treatment.
