Thanks guys for sharing this with us.always love seeing the STS crew putting the smack down on some chrome 🤘love the rogue river and all the beautiful scenery down there. being from the PNW I know how truly lucky we are to have such a good fishery and history with this gem of a river.Thanx again✌️
Great video! I lived in GB in the summer of 1987.. Love that little town and the fishing from the north and south jetty for red tail perch, salmon and steelhead, as well as smelt when the run was on.. Great memories for sure! 🙂
Up front console steering…. On the port side of the boat…. And tiller handle on the main motor….. I am thoroughly confused by this boat!! Great video!!
I will make my way there one day, the size and beauty of the fish down there is captivating too say the least. Only thing I would have done different is keep all those bones, I utilize EVERYTHING on springer. Bones and head are incredible for making fish stock or soup. The meat of the carcass(not much doing it his way) is my favorite when it is a springer or a summer steelhead. Just mix with finely chopped mushrooms, jalapenos and an egg and breadcrumbs and you have the best salmon burger you will ever have. Awesome video you guys killed it
Making burgers with that precious meat would be hard to do for me. Pan seared steaks for maximum taste from the original fish. Have you ever tried curing for a sashimi grade cut?
Nice, ill be there about the 3rd week of Aug cant wait to get out of northern NV & away from the heat hopefully! thanks for the bait instructions👍what type of anchor setup are you using? think i got everything else figured out i hope lol
Easier method I’ve been doing for 35 years…. Do NOT bring fish in boat until you bonk it… then bleed 🩸 it out in the net… then put in on ice. No need for other contraptions and unnecessary complications

Very good video. Like netter Douglas strategy of allowing fish to travel upstream of boat & netting fish traveling back downstream, well done.
A very good day for sure! Another great video from STS
What a team..!! Patrick and Fred..!!!
Any relation to Alan Boyce? I used to stay at his Paradise Lodge on 5 day turn arounds, when I used to guide down the canyon, in younger days.
Don’t mess with Helen! 😂

At 1:42. That Ferry riffle house. I lived and guided there for bit. Fished Nick….shhhhhh. That spinner bait rig. You’re welcome.
Great video guys!
So do you guys fish the anchovies the same way behind those plugs also? Great video nice fish!
Freddy! Oh man good to see him it’s been forever.
I remember hearing the Rogue used to have 200,000 springers
Is the plug portion of this setup just function as the diver or is it fishing too?
Epic springer fishing
Good video, wondering about the lack of flashers?

A real Springer is like. Tuna that swam into a river
Any shore fishing access for steelhead salmon?

Love me some good ol river wisdom. Appreciate you
My absolute pleasure
👍👍👍👍👍
The fun part is when your wool beanie falls off into the net right after cutting the gills. In the rain. Mixed bag of feelings on that one.
license and registration please
I guess when you know you know.... ya know?
Wild fish keep it in the water please
No idea how to handle fish
Isn't against the rules to remove a wild fish from the water. Lucky it didn't flp into the boat.
It's so painful to watch someone fight a fish that doesn't have a clue
Great video 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
