This addicted family Is the reason I throw all of my support I can to this group. they are not just talking the talk They are walking the walk. Including events like this one that they were able to videotape and share. Along with the Addicted bashes. Video premieres. Just a name of you not to mention the live feed once a week. Truly incredible
The DNA of those big 100lbs salmon is still out there! Had one jump in front of the boat while trolling back in 2016 on the Sacramento River. Damn near looked like a tarpon it was dime bright ! Easily over 100+ lbs. 2008 a large male carcass weighing over 80lbs was found near the Battle Creek hatchery. When it was alive it probably tipped close to 100lbs.
idk man, even if the genetics are still out there they dont seem to be expressing themselves due to environmental factors. Percy Walkus hatchery has 3-4 year return chinook genetics in their hatchery program, the big boys. yet the biggest they get is 60-70 pounds. i think on average even smaller. either way its crazy we dont have better programs in place to get these large chinooks going again
Loved this video. Cool to see everyone fishing having fun, hanging out w/each other. Love seeing Harmsen. This was amazing and you closing statement is 100% correct!
Thank you Marlin and all the Addicted crew!! This video brought back so many good memories of me doing that same thing with my kids and friends along the columbia.staying for a week and putting the smack down on salmon and steelhead was just the icing on top of the cake.spendung that time with my kids and friends was priceless,Thank you again for this video guys I loved it 🤘🤘
Once again awesome video. I had to go back and watch a few catches again you guys got some beauty fish. Marlin you are a class act and an inspiration we share a similar past and fishing and watching the channel helped me get past that. Keep it up thanks for everything
You guys kick ass love the videos so much this one was amazing to I ve only caught 2 salmon in my life when I working in campbell river BC. I've been fishing my whole life and I still learn things every video I see. Keep up the great work guys
Take out more trash than you bring. Thank you! It’s been a staple in our journeys. It’s not hard at all However the feeling of helping clean our beautiful land far exceeds any sort of ill thought. ✌🏻2all
You guys are the number one when it comes to showing how great our fishery here is on the Columbia and surrounding areas! Love seeing spots on your channel just down the road!
Awesome content. Epic week of fishing. Reminds me of what my family did growing up in AK. A week of fishing on the beach with those you love the most. That was a blessing. One of my favorites.
Ive been watching your videos to learn as much as I can, I need to find some easy access for my disabled walking and get myself out fishing! Thanks for the awesome content and tips! 🤙🏼
My God, you guys. Top efing notch production! Excellent photography, excellent music, excellent editing! Best show in the country, bar none. It's a good time to be alive and have a program like this to watch, and learn. Way to go, Colt, happy birthday. Good job Marlin, invoking good emotion to us viewers. Good ending. I wonder how camp will look in 30-40 years. Good luck and good health to all your fishing family.
I give Marlin some good natured ribbing on here but what s great guy bringing all his employees, friends and family out and introducing them to fishing. Well done Sir!
I've literally gone from zero fishing experience to feeling confident at my local lake in a matter of weeks just from watching your videos. Thank you all for everything you do to educate entertain and inspire!!!
Such a true statement about getting our kids into our fisheries and outdoors. Sucks Cali is on its second year of closure with my son wanting to land another salmon.
ADX. Always enjoy the dedication, inspiration and true meaning of fishing you present. Hope your journey continues to thrive and you can continue to spread the fishing addiction/adventure to everyone!
Every video I watch I have to watch the whole thing. The addicted fellas are addicting to watch! These trips/ mini movies are amazing to pop on the tv and actually see the experience you guys are having. Not going to lie I might feel the jealousy sometimes 😂 keep it up boiz! 🤘🏼
Absolutely love it! I'm counting down the days till the kings run out of lake michigan and this was just what I needed! I hope one of these days you can come rope on some of them!
Never heard of plunking before! Super awesome!. I'm on the puget sound, I had no idea about those huge Chinook running that far up the Columbia. Wild...keep it up!
They're essentially the same thing as wobblers. The mini extremes are a little smaller but they make some that are the exact same thing as a dodger. You can even put a hook on a dodger and call it a wobbler
Happy late bday colt! My 30th is tomorrow . Hopefully I’ll slay like you guys did. Addicted fishing truly are a great group of people. Glad to of been here the last 6 years
Whacked a couple coho in Puget Sound this weekend with some Yakima Spinfish. Using things I learned from Addicted, got a couple guys onto their first salmon. And they're already asking when they can go again. Keep spreading this amazing hobby.
I’ve learned so much from the Addicted videos. If you want learn how to do this, and/or get better at it. Addicted fishing videos will get you there and keep you motivated. And what can I say about the gear? My wife and wallet hate the Addicted shop. But I love it and that’s all that matters. Their stuff catches fish. It’s a fact!
Looked like a blast. We dont know how lucky we are living in the PNW. We still work the saltchuck up here on Vancouver island. You guys could do a whole series up here with our hogs. And the 100lds still are out there check out Rivers inlet.
I fish the Columbia in lower B.C. and have caught a handful of 12” Chinook this year. I’ve heard the were released in Kettle Falls maybe? Anyway, love it if they stuck around and got near as big as the hogs you guys got into. Great catches, always a treat when Marlins in the ep.
That’s awesome you took colt out there to be in the video on his birthday. Jason is a great addition! You don’t seem very many good videos based around plunking.
My cousin hooked a king salmon about 2 years ago it was on my biggest setup on a wicked lure and it spooled him in like 1 minute and I had almost 400 yards of 35lb braid with a okuma Coronado cdx 65 series so the reels max drag is like 40 lbs or something so yeah you can only imagine we didn't see the fish 1 time either. There are monster fish out there bit they are just impossible to land
Marlin, your amazing for taking great care of your employees and you treat them like family. Great episode. Keep the content coming.👏👏👍

Been on many guided trips with Jason! He’s a pleasure to be around and always puts me on fish!!! 🎣

Easily over 100+ lbs. 2008 a large male carcass weighing over 80lbs was found near the Battle Creek hatchery. When it was alive it probably tipped close to 100lbs.
The hatchery should try to go for the bigger ones DNA during the runs so that hopefully we see more big fish in the future.

@@coleomo some of these fish will hold out to 5-6 years or more at sea. They’ll wait for the big rain seasons.
@@KokoB1883 I hope those genetics can be saved one day. 6 year chinook would be crazy, and of course huge.
7 days of camping and fishing? You can't put a price tag on experiences like that, thanks for sharing!
I’m really enjoying the Marlin episodes this year.
Way to go!
Great job Marlin & guys, that was fun to watch!
What a great trip! thank you for letting us hang with you and experiencing every step of the way!
Loved this video. Cool to see everyone fishing having fun, hanging out w/each other. Love seeing Harmsen. This was amazing and you closing statement is 100% correct!
Thanks for bringing awareness to this sad events that led us to this run being what it is today.
Long live the Columbia River chinook!

Absolutely love your content💯💯😁 You guys gave me more knowledge on fishing than anything else, the addicted bash in PNW was a hit this year!
Never heard of plunking before! Super awesome!. I'm on the puget sound, I had no idea about those huge Chinook running that far up the Columbia. Wild...keep it up!
Those lures look identical to a brads Kokanee dodgers😂 congrats on 400k🎉 and in September you boys gotta come to Vancouver island port Alberni 🎣🎣
They're essentially the same thing as wobblers. The mini extremes are a little smaller but they make some that are the exact same thing as a dodger. You can even put a hook on a dodger and call it a wobbler
Right, born and raised on the island it’s unreal over here. Ports a special place for sure. Campbell is my favourite though
Campbell river/courtenay is a must do. Salmon capital of the world!
I've pulled the trebles off a few of mine and run them for kokanee successfully
I’ve never fished the beach like that on the Columbia. I think my brother would be up to it. Thanks for doing what you’re doing.
