Getting Johnny in and he almost makes it a collab album. literally the greatest living guitarist. Props to Noel for sticking to the vision also. They both know eachother's musical styles so well = great work.
It must be an amazing feeling for Noel, to achieve all with Oasis, and to not have any financial worries and to continue creating music with his musical peers & mates in a positive environment. To come from Burnage to this is some feat. He's won life's lottery. Good for him.
Of course Noel and Johnny Marr are gold in that video, but seeing Gem playing is always such a treat. I'd love if he made a masterclass course or something to show how he brings the right touch with his guitar style.
I think it's important that muscians should keep these recordings, especially for memories. It's also nice seeing who the engineers are and the loads of other people who worked on the songs. They're jst as important as the main guys.
So this is Noel’s own studio. What a way to help ensure there’s space & time to allow good things to emerge. If you hire a studio, you’ll always be up against deadlines and dates.
Just inject these videos directly into my veins. I love this album from start to finish. I can’t say the same for any album released in last 10 years. Love Johnny!
I'm not sure what I am drooling over more: the gorgeous guitars in this clip or some of the riffs themselves, like those Johnny plays for Pretty Boy and Council Skies and one goes like "Right, so this is how those came to be!" (By the way, I especially love that infectious Pretty Boy riff; it's like Noel often says about Johnny's input: it lifts the song to a different place without affecting the tune's core.) :)
I keep rewatching this, and its a guitarist's dream to see behind the scenes of famous musicians work together. No matter the band. These guys are so talented and have so much experience they get it done so fast. it's 2nd nature to produce and work on songs.
I love to see how songs are born. Getting J.M. and gem to add their guitar skills is amazing. Thanks Noel for posting these videos, your amazing. What a life!!💙
The more I listen to Council Skies the more I dig it. Great musicianship and grooves. And adding Johnny Mar was just brilliant. Learn more about him I must.
When you think of their chance meeting all those years ago and that Noel is now friends with the guys in his teenage favorite band.....I mean that's incredible. ♡
You said its dreamy, with lots of chords. Before you said it I said it sounds nice and full, lots of layers. Similar to moby layering songs too. Depth. Nice effect, makes the sound more "full". More work gone into every aspect, and that's not even why you're amazing ❤❤❤
Right-on-the-money observation all around. What song you referred it to, with depth and full effect? The Moby comparison too, he seems to be working upon every layer by now, and that's the way it should be done by overskilled musicians like him. But of course, he's just one of a kind.
This is one of my favorite albums. I listened to it a lot when it first came out then went back and listened to previous recordings by NGHFB and Oasis. Wonderful to see the process of how the album came together. Cool to see Johnny Marr playing and the parts he added. So tasty. 🤙🏽💥

Council Skies is probably my fav NGHFB album already and watching these justifies just how good an album and song writer Noel is. has a great team around him and the addition of Marr just brilliant. love these guys, great time to be alive with such great music.

@@indefatigable6176, oh yeah he does. If you've been with Noel since the beginning, you know how humble he is. He knows.
