To be honest I advised him against it but so far we have seen no negative side effects after a year and almost 20k miles. It does reek of oil 😂 Personally I'd run a catch can but if you do it that way make sure the hose is a larger diameter than the valve cover opening. And keep the catch can clean!
@@SizzaE60 If you do it this way make sure to plug all other vacuum connections outside of the valve cover. Otherwise you will have a few massive vac leaks lol.

Don't worry I was very gentle. My buddy has done worse things to his dashboard 😂. Will keep it in mind if I ever slap your dashboard though.
Wait no ccv?? Is that safe? I have an E60 with the same motor and am trying to find out what to do with my failing ccv.
