    Amazing looking poke! With the garlic chips, large onions, and jalapeños, it looked so different from other pokes. Wasabi fried chicken! Whaat??? Not your normal okazuya. I can't wait to try this place. Thanks, Misty!

    Hi Misty. 👋 We did have Poke at Ono Seafood on Kapahula Ave OMG ! it’s delicious. We took a leaf out of Sean’s (HawaiianTraveler) book and got some “Ono Giant shrimp chips”from a ABC Store. We used the shrimp chips as little plate. We loaded up the shrimp chip with the Poke and the crunch from the chip with poke was heaven 😀
    Cheers Rod and Gemma 🤙

    Wowee! What a find! This place offers unique ingredients of taste of texture in their pokes and onigiri like crispy garlic slices and the fresh jalapenos. It didn't have mentaigo did it mixed in there? Not your usual delicatessen. Gotta put this one on my go to list.

    Oh wow - now i want some fried musubi. I love that crispy, crusty rice. It reminds of those claypot rice dishes in Hong Kong - where the bottom of the claypot causes the rice to crisp-up.

And, when you said "not too sweet" about the fried onigiri, I don't know why but it reminded me of Rap Replinger's Aunty Marialani. lol "Not too sweet, not to rancid, but just right eh." Honestly it looks amazing but im not paying 20-25dollars for these plates of food

    • @FoodFiend
      @FoodFiend  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It wasn't 20-25 dollars, so I'm not sure where you're getting that from...more like the standard $15 or less for okazu-ya items and the poke is $10-12 for a half a pound. I'm not sure why you watch restaurant type videos if you can't afford it or not willing to pay for it once a week or once a month. 🤷‍♀Just eat at home.
