this is in my top 3 of the year so far. start to finish, a quality, enjoyable listen for me! and as a side note, i watched a lot of interviews with John and think his take on writing about war is unique and much more interesting focusing on the human condition. this album is a perfect complement for Woe To The Vanquished, which also has several long songs, and is the start of the new leveled up phase of Warbringer.
Warbringer is one of my favourite (younger) thrash metsl band but I can't say that I've never been disapointed by some of their material from time to time ! Their 3rd album was a bit of a letdown for me but the worst was IV Empires Collapse, not a BAD album but very meh ! Their last 2 are awesome, no doubt about that !

Great video and great album. I had an idea though that I think would be very good for the channel. You could potentially do a quick review roundup video. where you have one or two of the members from Bangor listen to the albums once or twice, and not do a comprehensive review but at a glance review. I think it would allow you to cover four or five albums in a video like this rather than just one. Just an idea you guys are still doing awesome.
They do this twice a year with 2 reviewers called "What We Missed". But i get you probably mean something more informal. There's just so much music out there.

Especially with how many albums come out, even more so with how many good albums come out. And the other thing that could be said is that the shout-outs fill that role, but if you gave those shout outs 2-3 minutes instead of 30 seconds, you got a whole video right there.

Way better than 'V'. It's thrashier, has a good balance between fast, mid-tempo and slow songs, atmosphere(I just didn't feel it in Havoks V), and V is way too long
Im kinda the opposite. I didn't like the doomier sounding songs personally. Havok's V has great thrash from start to finish but I understand what you mean 🤘🏽
It's too bad you guys didn't review any of the two last albums of Annihilator, they were great and refreshing, would love to hear Daniel's opinion on it, or Sam's. :)
I love Warbringer, have all their releases. I agree with the production, performance, and technical praise but as a whole release it misses me. It’s not bad but it doesn’t touch some of their other stuff. JMO.

Love this album and the black metal influences they have incorporated in their recipe. Mixing influences is what made bands like Warbringer, Power Trip or Vampire (mixed of thrash and death) stands out! That's why the new Havok seems almost too clean, too much in the line of what has been done a 1000 times..

Instead of speaking continuously for 10 minutes about an album we never heard, could you please consider editing your show and adding from time to time 10-15 seconds of the song or sound you are referring to?

I really hope that most of the bands don’t actually support such strict strike rules, and that it’s the record companies (though even there, I’d like to believe it’s only the big corporate bastards that strike, not the smaller labels)... and TH-cam’s trash policies, of course. It wouldn’t surprise me if their logic is, “people can buy and decide if they like”, but it also wouldn’t surprise me at all if being more permissive with clips encouraged more people to buy, bc they hear something that excites them, and they want to hear more, and hear it in the context of the album. Then again, corporations definitely research this kind of shit to determine what is most profitable... idk the answer, dude, but not having clips sucks!

That's... uh... I mean, great that you love the album - I do too - but I feel like that's just about the complete opposite of the reaction they were trying to inspire in people.
Everyone said this was the best album of '20 at the Havok V release and I bought it right away and listened to it dozens of times but I still like Havok more. I think it's the Black Metal parts. Not that it really matters but the album art is not very good at all. Lamb of God and Misery Signals are really taking over my Thrash time, NWOAHM maybe my most listened Genre this year.
I think it does matter about the album art, i don't care for this cover at all. I was so relieved when the music more than made up for it. I prefer this over Havok but i think there's enough styles to go around.
Warbringer really outdid themselves on this one. All killer, no filler, awesome album!
